I'm a teacher in Ontario and jobs here are extremely difficult to find. It took me 5 years to get permanent with a school board - I was supply teaching for those 5 years. Out West they seem to have more teaching jobs and of course, up North. :)

I very rarely eat back the calories burned from exercising. The only time I do is if I want something "bad", such as pizza for dinner.

I read this post a couple weeks ago (I stumbled upon it), so I decided to test it today. I wore my HRM while I cleaned the entire house - every room dusted and vacuumed, floors mopped, kitchen cleaned, both bathrooms cleaned, bedding changed, 3 loads of laundry and garbage taken out. There is a 5k to 10k app by ACTIVE. It is similar to couch to 5k, you have intervals and it tells you when to walk and run.

C25K is an awesome program. I "graduated" last April and I absolutely loved it! I'm now working on running 10K and I'm up to 7K!

When I go to the movies I bring my bottle of water and carrot sticks. I ignore what they're eating and do my own thing.

I like raisins and cinnamon in my oatmeal. I haven't explored any other options but I've heard people putting PB in theres.
