NUTS! Raw mixed nuts, - I am totally without will power when it comes to nuts. I can, and have, eaten a large Tesco packet of mixed nuts in one sitting. I just don't buy them anymore, but I miss them

Thanks all of you for your thoughts. I have decided to continue using MapMyWalk syncing to MFP. I will only eat back half of the burned calories from now on, which should compensate for the inflated cal burn figures. Also, I think FatDoob's advice makes a lot of sense to me, I am losing weight (slowly) so will continue…

3.28 miles walked out in the countryside today. Goal is to walk the same walk every day, weather permitting. If I can't get outside I will do Leslie's 4 Fast Miles walk at home. So hopefully, minimum I should have walked at the end of March will be 31 x 3.28 = 101.68 miles! ????

Helen, thanks for that info. I never knew that about full cream milk having less calcium than skimmed milk. Interesting. I have heard, however, that skimmed milk is full of artificial white colouring, as without it, once the cream and natural fat has been taken out, it would look like thin bluish tinged water......thats…

I have heard that the slower (I know, its not what u want to hear) the weight loss, provided it is consistent,the less chance you will have of ending up with saggy skin once u reach your goal weight. Goal for Feb: 80 miles Feb 1: LS 3 mega miles Feb 2: LS 4 Fast Miles Feb 3: 4 miles outside walk Feb 4 Nothing Feb 5 LS 2 Miles Feb 6 1 mile outside and 1 LS Fast mile Feb 7 LS 4 Fast Miles Thats 19 in 1 week. So need to average just over 20 a week from now on. I can do this. I think :)

Hi there :) I started here a year ago and lost quite a lot of weight. Due to unforeseen circumstances ( and isn't that always the case!) I lost motivation and piled the weight back on, and then some. Now I've sorted my life out, sort of, and am back with more determination than ever. I'm 65 now, so this is probably my last…
