Syncing problems between Endomondo and MFP
Does anyone here use Endomondo? I do, and it always used to sync with MFP perfectly. Now it doesn't. I've checked all my settings and nothings changed. I use Endomondo on my iphone and MFP on my ipad. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Endomondo tracker....
Hi there I am walking an average of 3.5 miles a day, "moderate pace" (2.5 - 2.7 mph). My Endomondo tracker informs me that, depending on the rate of pace, I am burning between 400 and 430 cals per walk. Can this be right? It seems a lot, but if its right I'm more than happy! Any one have any expetience with Endomondo in…

Adding calories burned to calorie allowance....
I would like to know whether this is a good thing or not? If I burn 800 cals doing exercise, if I add that to my 1200 MFP daily allowance it would give me a daily allowance of 2000 cals. If I don't add them, and eat only 1200, will I really be eating too little? Wouldn't I just lose weight that much faster? If what I do…

Exercises while recovering from a torn calf muscle?
Hi ???? My regular exercise was a daily 3.5 mile walk. A week ago I tore a muscle in my right calf so badly that now, a week later, I am hobbling around with a walking stick. My doctor has prescribed rest and pain killers. Fine. But now, though I stay (mostly) within my calorie limit of 1200 I am finding my weight creeping…

Calcium levels too low
Hi According to MFP, my calcium levels are WAY too low. I have full cream milk in my coffees (instant coffee with 50 ml milk x 4 per day), real butter on my oatcakes most mornings, and eat a smallish wedge of decent cheese most nights. Any advice on how I can increase the calcium levels without eating more of the foods…

One of them must be wrong, but which?
I have been using the MapMyWalk app to track my daily walking workout. It is synced to MFP. So, for the last couple of weeks I have been very pleased with the calorie burn number MapMyWalk has been giving me, which is between 420 and 450. I do exactly the same walk each time, ie 3.25 miles in an average of 65minutes.…

Any UK members willing to share food diary?
Hello I live in Norfolk, UK. I am trying to keep to my 1200 calorie goal. I am finding this pretty boring. I would love to be able to view other members' (of this group) food diaries, - members who are also on the 1200 calorie limit. I can go slightly over this at times because I get extra cals for exercise, but I still…

Close to giving up......
......was doing OK for a couple of months but due to personal circumstances beyond my control fell off the weight loss wagon for the last 9 days and have put back all the weight I lost. I know, intellectually, the answer, - get back up, brush off the dust, chin up, all those good things, and start over. Yes. But deep…

Feeling overwhelmed......
I was doing really well (I think) and had lost steadily at +\- 1.5 lbs a week. Exercising too. Then, as usual, I went and blew it all in the space of 30 mts by stuffing myself with a whole (medium sized) bag of liquorice all sorts and a large packet of kettle crisps.. I didn't even have them in the house.....I deliberately…

Hello from Norfolk, England :)
Hi there! I'm 65 and on a mission to lose weight, get fit and start to feel alive. Rather than just living. I'm British, now retired back to the UK, but have children and a very aged mother in Cape Town, South Africa, where I lived for 45 years. I joined in Jan last year but fell off the weight loss wagon when personal…

Confused
Looking for some advice, please! I have been doing the Walk at Home workouts every day for about a month now (alternating mainly between Four Fast Miles and Three Mega Miles). I am also doing the 5:2 Fast Diet. I have lost 8 lbs in 2 months. Still got a long way to go. However, I have been reading a lot of stuff online…

New to this group.
Hi all. I have started out the New Year with a (new for me) eating and fitness plan. I have started the Fast Diet, or the 5:2 eating plan, and invested in some Leslie Sansone Walk at Home DVDs. I am 66 years old and not very fit, but so far have enjoyed alternating between the 4 Fast Mile one and the Pilates one. I've even…

Bananas and their bad rap.
Why have bananas got such a bad reputation when it comes to foods to stay away from when one is trying to lose weight? I am tracking my food and keeping to around the MyFitnessPal limit of 1200 per day. I love bananas. I know an average raw banana has around 120 calories. If I don't exceed my calorie limit, would it matter…

Paul Mkenna
Hi, I'm new to this forum so forgive me if this has already been asked and answered. Have any of you used the Paul McKenna "I Can Make You Thin" method? If so, any comments, positive or negative? Many thanks.
