Feel free to add me 😀 I’m in the same boat. Many of mine have gone inactive.

I know this is an older thread, but I’m a local girl. I currently live just across the state line in Taft, TN but I’m from Ardmore/Toney area of Alabama, just outside of Huntsville.

I have been using ITrackBites on SmartPoints and recently on Freestyle. Since September I have lost 41 pounds but over the past few months have just been gaining and losing 3 pounds. I switched back to MFP as a change of pace. Freestyle was way too restrictive for me. Plus I obsessed over points. That is no way to live!

Hey y'all! I'm 32(gasp) SW: 262 CW:208 GW:182 (for now) I have been up and down and only recently lost 16 pounds. My goal is healthier not skinny and I am a real eater. Anyone feel free to add me.

I'm in! I am currently 208 and would love to be 188 by Christmas/New Year! Anyone feel free to add me!

Just work it into your calories and don't feel guilty. Guilt usually drives us to over eat because it takes the joy out of it. I have learned that if I want something sweet, I get it, eat it, enjoy it! Then I log it and move on! I have learned that food isn't important enough to consume my thoughts.

Yes! One of the first things I learned is that I couldn't trust my body for hunger signals. I felt hungry but knew it was just an adjustment period. The first week was awful! It got so much easier. If I used to be hungry ( what I learned was not true physical hunger, but a desire to eat) I would dwell on it like crazy. Now…

Hey y'all! I am 32 and over the past 2 years lost 54 pounds. It has been a long crazy roller coaster. I am finally getting serious and want to lose at least 30 more. I could definitely stand to lose more than that but I'll hit that goal first! Anyone feel free to add me, my diary is open.

I'm on ig as @praisepearlsandpetitfours. Yall are welcome to follow me!

I focus on weekly calories. I usually stay a bit under my daily calorie goal every day. I used those "saved" calories on a treat. It usually ends up being only once or twice per week and I always start over on Monday. This way I stay within my allotted calories but I have a bit more freedom.

Me too!

For salty stuff I love pretzels or wasabi ranch snappeas. For sweet snacks I love fiber one bars, homemade skinny smores, and lately I have been loving the yoplait whipped greek yogurt. I adore the vanilla cupcake flavor with a few butterscotch chips sprinkled in.

Me too! I have an open diary. Be warned I don't worry about macros or any of that fancy jazz. I only count calories.

Thank you for posting this! I have had two still births ( completely different reasons) in the past 4 years. In the middle I had a perfectly healthy son who will be 3 in October. My most recent loss happened a year ago Sunday. I agree completely that it is one moment at a time. I am learning how much emotions and food are…

I mix in pb2 and splenda and a few choc chips. Really good on its own or as a fruit dip.

I made stir fry and used the zucchini spirals instead of noodles. Hubs even ate it and he isn't too keen on veggies.

There is a built in pedometer on the newer iphone. If you have an older phone there is a free app called pacer. It will sync with Mfp.
