I do it every 5lbs lost. I'm 166lbs now, but I'm eating TDEE of a 165lbs. When I get to 165lbs, I'll adjust my TDEE to 160lbs. That's me & I'm getting great results.

I work out 3-4 times a week. Two of those I do during lunch time at the gym in the office. The other two I do purposely on a Saturday & Sunday so the wife & kids get to see me work out. Hopefully, they will join me regularly one of these days. BTW, I only do body weights & jump rope.

It's a great perk. Use it. I usually go during lunch time. Less people & keeps me focused as I only have an hour.

here's another calculator that will help confuse you. :-) http://www.marklauren.com/custom-calorie-calculator.html It's constantly 80 to 100+ calories less than what scooby recommends. I currently use this calculator & get good results.

I weigh every morning with the same conditions (underwear only, right after pee & poo). Then I log it in a calendar where I can see a landscape view of my weight for the week & month. Do what makes you feel comfortable in regards to feedback.

Well done! Great results! Congratulations! Looking forward to the next update.

Well done! I celebrate with you as I, too, just reached the same milestone.

We have the same strategy! At the very least I should be able to down 1 liter before lunch time and another before going home from the office. This doesn't include the water I drink at breakfast & dinner. Fit2Skinnyme3, I would recommend getting yourself a 1 liter bottle to help you.

First time 208lbs to 175lbs Second time 198lbs to 169 (current) GW is 150lbs. I'm definitely doing better this time compared to the first. My plan is to stay between 150-160 for the rest of my lilfe.

Great job on influencing your parents. I, too, hope to influence my family members into a healthy lifestyle.

I agree that you are over thinking this. 100lbs is a long journey. Many things will happen in between. Once you lose 100lbs of fat, you'll never go back.
-
Congrats to you, too. We'll reach our goals in due time.

Great work!

I can relate with the BMI calculations. Yes it is flawed, but we can't help but compare ourselves to it. As for me, I'm 3lbs overweight as per BMI. I'm excited to get to the Normal range.

Keep us posted. Glad to help.

Great job! But be careful with all the turning back & forth, it stresses the knee if you keep turning in the same way. Best is to alternate direction of the turns or walk during the turns. I don't have a long driveway so I just skip rope.

Put 1791 on MFP and dont eat below 1461. Eating at 2264 will maintain your weight at the current activities you are doing. But as you said, you are coming from an undereating state, so expect the scale to go up first before it comes down again.

I like crossfit but don't do it because of the cost. But after looking at he crossfit injury board, I'm having second thoughts.

I heard a good analogy before.. Imagine body fat as a (swimming) pool. When you drain the pool, the deep end will be the last to be drained. Abdominal fat is the deep end of the pool & will be the last one to go. How this analogy will help you, I don't know. I'm just sharing it because it helps me understand body fat. Just…

Correct. I don't know how long it will take. Give it two to three weeks. Do your best and try not to eat below 1791. Eating at 1200 per day didn't work for you, so you give this a try.

Give this a read. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/912920-in-place-of-a-road-map-3-2013 Many (including me) find it successful.

Have you computed your calories correctly? Someone posted this link & I think it might be helpful in finding out your correct calorie needs. http://www.globalrph.com/harris-benedict-equation.htm Don't give up. Steady plodding will get you there.

Thanks. I've yet to see my waist size & body composition at 160lbs. But you've definitely done a good job.

+1 on Fitness Blender. You can also get a good jump rope for cardio.
-
Hope you hit your goal soon!

Will do. I'd be happy with a 34.

Noted. That's one thing I have to get rid of asap. I weigh myself weekly and from 198lbs to 175lbs I've always seen quick results from the scale. Now is .5 to 1lb down every week. But the pants are getting looser. BTW, I'm 37.5 inches on the waist.
