It bugs me too when people say I'm wasting away. I just smile at them. But usually these thoughts cross my mind during the smile. -Yeah, my fats are wasting away. -Yeah right, why don't you & me go shirtless in front of a mirror & see who's wasting away. -Really now?! Why don't you match my pull ups & pistols rep per rep.…

Did I feel like quitting all the time? Nope. Did I feel like I would never make it ? Yep. Nevertheless I kept going. The journey itself wasn't that difficult. It was more of a learning process for me. I learned a lot about nutrition this year... applied & not just theoretical. And what I learned will be used for the rest…

I guess I'm also on my last 10-15 lbs. Will try to zig-zag my calories from June to July & see what happens I'll be eating 2,200 maintenance calories on workout days and 1,700 calories on non-workout days.

This reminds me... In the near future I'll be meeting a group of friends who haven't seen me since December. Got to be prepared for the good/bad comments. Need to also prepare for a one-line answer for the question "How'd you do it?".

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I feel better now. Great support in MFP!
-
Looking back I can count comments like that with one hand. But I got all those comments within a week so it got me thinking.

Haven't reached my goal yet but I bought myself a pair of PowerBlock Sport 5.0 to help me reach it. Good thing is that my wife also uses the PB. Yes its pricey but its worth every penny.

Home on Saturdays & Sundays. Then once or twice (rarely) during weekday at the office gym. If there was no gym at the office, I'll do it at home.

Just to update everyone... I'm now down to 163lbs but still have belly fat & love handles (although it is visibly getting smaller). And from what I'm seeing, looks like 145-150lbs is an attainable target. I do body weight exercises 4x a week & don't take protein powder supplements. I hope I'm doing enough to keep my muscle…

Jump rope is my chosen exercise for cardio & conditioning. Out of the the ten times I workout, eight times I'll do jump rope (others will be the treadmill, stationary bike, or burpees). I usually do a 10-1-1. 10 rounds 1 min work 1 min rest For the last five rounds I'll mix it up with double unders or running in place.…
