  • "When someone makes the choice to eat "clean" they are choosing to eliminate all processed foods and extra additives from their diet. Basically, you are choosing to eat whole, unrefined foods. The basics of eating clean include - eating lots of fruits and vegetables. These are straight from nature - the idea is to stay…
  • From your general lack of knowledge by dismissing eating clean as "whatever that means" shows you just want to be skinny and not healthy. Look at your labels some time, see what you are putting in your body. I mean great, you think calories in and calories out is the only goal. The best you will ever be is somewhat thinner…
  • The fit test killed me and I had already done p90x in its entirety and can run a comfortable 5k. It isn't for the weak but I saw some serious results in my friends who stuck with it.
  • Basically any routine will be effective as long as you are doing enough reps or the right weight. Always remember proper form. For months I did curls using parts of my delts and chest and thought I was crazy strong but unfortunately my technique was awful. When I isolate the bicep I can at best get 8 reps with 30lbs out.
  • My name is HotJava9...I got the nick name Java from my love of Coffee. I did give it up mostly but that is only because I am on other stimulant supplements for working out.

  • If you thought day 1 was bad day 2 will murder you if you go all out!
  • I'm a veteran of the program! Don't look at those scale #'s make sure you just look in the mirror and measure your arms/waist/legs! You will see muscle results for sure! If you want a modified diet plan from what they do I would be happy to help (I used p90x2's nutrition plan because it is easier to follow)
  • Just reiterating things already said but the facts have been spoken. There is no gimmick here to losing your belly fat. You just need to shed your overall body fat percentage by cardio and dieting and you will get there. Unfortunately if you are looking for those abs to show through you will need to get to 5% or lower…
  • I'm a hot sauce and pepper person...on everything.
  • Moderately healthy. I do the occational puniment day or week with low calories and lots of exercise. Lost 65 lbs so far and 5lbs away from my ultimate weight goal, now just to cut a bit more.
  • keep lean protein at 40-50% of your diet with fats under 20%, GOOD carbs for the rest (brown rice/veggies/low sugar fruits). Do light strength training, even just a few reps 2-3 days a week 10/8/6 on triceps, biceps, chest, back (you can use combination moves to help do this faster). Bigger weights give bigger muscle and…
  • p90x is NOT, I repeat NOT a weight loss program and their diet isn't designed as such. You need energy for your exercise and fat ripper (50% protein 25/25 carbs fat) with reduced calories will work to cut fat off you. Drink 3 liters of water a day MINIMUM (3.5 is really ideal). You will need a low carb protein powder like…
