There isn't an epidemic of malnourished people because most people can't stick to that low of a calorie goal for long.

Sonic car hops in my state make minimum wage. The extent of my "tipping" is just telling them to give me the cash back if I'm owed change, and they can keep the coin change. In my mind, what they're doing isn't much different than what the person at the drive-through window is doing, so I don't really feel a need to tip.

I also got mine at Walmart for under $20. I love it.

Anywhere from 1800-2100 total, depending on my workout for that day. I usually NET between 1550-1650.

5'11" here also with PCOS! I've lost almost 20lbs so far and would like to lose about another 60. Feel free to add me!

Hey there, I have similar stats to you. I'm also 5'11" and currently at 280 (started at 299). It sounds like I don't work out quite as much as you, but I do work out usually 4-5 days a week, around 30-45 minutes each time. My total calorie intake is usually around 1900-2000, but my NET (after factoring calories burned…

I recommend checking out www.skinnytaste.com - I've made several recipes from that website and they've all been delicious and didn't seem like "healthy foods" at all. It also has a section specifically for Super Bowl snacks - just lightened up versions of traditional snacks. There's one on there called Baked Buffalo…

I still eat fast food once or twice a week, and have been losing just fine. I just order the "junior" or "kids" version of whatever I'm getting. Makes it easier to fit into my day.
-
I used to do that. Every Friday, but it was wreaking havoc on my progress because I wasn't paying attention at ALL to what I was eating for that day. This also made it kind of difficult to get back on track the next day, so my whole weekend was starting to be pretty crappy and was undoing all my hard work. So, what I do…

I agree with the above posters that blaming PCOS for a 200-lb weight gain within the timeframe of one year is a little ridiculous. I have PCOS and, while I have gained about 60lbs total since I was first diagnosed, that has also been over the course of 10 years and my weight gain was largely due to a horrible, unhealthy…

Sriracha is a hot sauce - super tasty! You can get it pretty much anywhere - I shop at Walmart. Yesterday's creation turned out to be really yummy actually. I mixed a pouch of the Starkist Tuna Creations (lemon pepper) with 1/2 cup of Rotel (which is the tomatoes and green chilis...this one also had lime juice in it). Then…

Agreed, this was my take on it, as well, and I think it makes perfect sense.

Did you read? ETA a 2nd part to my question: AND comprehend?

Sriracha! Mmmmm. Also, today mixing lemon pepper starkist tuna with rotel... haven't tried it before, but gonna give it a whirl.

My unrealistic dream: Beyonce. My (somewhat) realistic dream: the plus-sized model Ashley Graham!

Daddy's girl here for sure. My mom and I butted heads a lot when I was growing up. We get along much better now that I'm older, but I'm still a daddy's girl and always will be. Not sure of the reasoning (definitely not the creepy opposite sex attraction you suggested) but that's just the way it is. I'm also the baby.…

@Mellow - the newer iPhones have a pedometer built in that MFP works with to auto-adjust your calories, so you don't have to manually enter. @1pomegranate - Typically, I don't have any issues with the pedometer through MFP/iPhone but it has been acting up the last couple days, like it would record my steps but then, next…

I had asthma as a kid, mainly just during sports and physical activity and, like you, don't have to use an inhaler anymore. For me, the difference is in how easy it feels to be able to inhale air. When I'm just out of breath from running or whatever, yes, I'm breathing hard and taking deep breaths, but the actual act of…

My faves: Skinny Caramel Latte (tall size is 100 cals) Skinny Vanilla Latte (same as above) Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte (tall sz is 120 cals) Non-fat Caramel Macchiato (tall sz is 140 cals) I believe on their website they also have a section of their menu that is only drinks under 200 cals!

I agree! Crazy how the same weight can look so different from person to person, even if the height is the same! At 5'11" and currently 280lbs I'm sort of in between a size 20 and 22, but also kind of depends on the brand. I have very wide hips though and a booty, so my shirt size doesn't always necessarily coincide with my…

Hey fellow glamazons! I'm 5'11", and looks like I have a bit more to lose than most of you, but that's ok :) Still would love to be friends! My CW is 280, immediate GW is 250, and ultimate GW will probably be around 200. I haven't been under 200lbs since like 6th grade, so that might not be realistic for me lol Anyway -…

Oooooooklahoma! ....Oklahoma City, to be exact.

I just threw this together recently, but it turned out to be REALLY yummy (I'm sure I'm not the first person to have thought of this): Two 2-oz chicken breast tenderloins Two Laughing Cow cheese wedges (my fav to use are the Herb & Garlic or the Spicy Pepperjack) 2 Tbsp of Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs (mine are gluten…

If you're doing the Atkins diet, or similar, the Atkins website (for free) has a guide that walks you through which types of carbs to add back, how much of them, and at what point in your diet you can add them back. They also discuss maintenance carbs. I'd recommend checking out their website, since they've kind of become…
