That's one of the things I love about MFP - having friends that are at all different levels of fitness and that can inspire me to push harder or work for more. If you found a system that works for you, that's awesome. Know that you are an inspiration to others with that system! http://cheezburger.com/6547559936

Hi - just sent you a FR. I'm the same age as you, log daily, and have been maintaining my loss for about the last year. Always up for new and supportive/active friends on here.

Just keep going. (This isn't about one meal, one snack, one day, one week.....Just keep going, and it will happen)

Wise words! Also, to put it in perspective - I'm 35, weigh 162-164, work on my feet, exercise 3-5 times a week, and my maintenance calories are 2180. And I've been maintaining for 9 months. I would fall down and cry if I could only eat 1200 cals a day!

Pretty much everyone's already said what I was going to.... You didn't gain real weight (yet). You were hungry (or bored, or stressed, or distracted), and you ate more than usual. I am maintaining now and my weight fluctuates about 2-3 lbs. Some days I'm hungrier than others. I just keep tracking what I eat and making sure…

Not the same thing at all, actually. As for your OP, maybe you're bored of the elliptical. Try new exercises - is there anything you find fun? Swimming, classes, group sports, etc?

Some days when I'm not really into the gym, I'll mix up my cardio like that to get some variety in so I don't bore myself for too long on one machine. Just see how you like it, which machines you enjoy more, and enjoy it! I'm guessing the person that told you this is horrible is just teasing you. Regular exercise and…

I do the same - I'm in healthcare so I like the extra boost of Vitamin C. My calcium has added Vit D and magnesium for absorption (plus they help with mood!).

Love this!

Sounds like an awesome "problem" to me. Not sure how much you have left to lose...but that muscle you're building is going to help burn off a lot of that extra fat you're trying to toss. Gaining muscle and losing inches should be prioritized over the number on the scale - it's what's going to keep you healthy. The number…

While you transition, just take it slow to get up to your new calorie goal if you feel like it's a big jump to get to the right amount. It took me a few weeks to figure out how to eat more and not just fill up on anything just to reach my calorie quota. Great ideas here to incorporate more protein - full-fat or low-fat…

Oh, my - that's such an unfortunate name for a product!

The Beehive is a great place for a cocktail(http://www.beehiveboston.com/) and you can have dinner right across the street at The Butcher Shop (thebutchershopboston.com). If you do book a room at the Park Plaza, be careful which part of the hotel your room is in - part of the hotel was updated and part was not, so the…

We spend about $90 a week for two people. This includes all breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods. I try to plan ahead so a few meals will include leftovers. I buy plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and a few snacks. We typically eat fish one night, poultry 2-3 nights and at least one night with no meat. We eat out about…

Of course walking is exercise! It's great for cardiovascular conditioning and for your emotional health too! I love walking everywhere - in the woods, on the street, fast or slow. It's great exercise and you've clearly proven that it's an effective form of exercise for you. Keep walking, girl!

Great job! You can really see the difference in your face (and your smile is even brighter!). Love the painting.

That's fantastic! Only in weight loss would this be considered a GOOD thing. I keep thinking I need to wear a belt, but forgetting so I'm the weirdo hoisting up her pants everywhere I go. I am waiting to lose another 5 lbs until I'm in the next size down to buy some new pants. I really hope they don't fall down in public!

Mini reese's cups. They used to be one of my binge foods so I avoid them now. They're kind of gross anyway, so waxy.

I'm an unsweetened almond milk fan too. I don't drink it by glass ever, but add it to smoothies or put it in cereal on the rare occasion I eat that. What are you finding you need milk for? Maybe that would help you determine the best type of "milk" for each food? Have you tried making your own almond milk? You might like…

I'm 5'8" and weighed in at 185 this morning. My heaviest was 216 (about 10 years ago) and this year I started out at 206. I wear a size 12 and eat about 1650 - 1700 calories a day. I try to work out 3-4 times a week (cardio and strength) and I have a fairly physical job as a nursing assistant so luckily that keeps me…
