I try to take a rest day once a week and that just means that I don't do an intense workout. I will still walk the dog, maybe do an easy 30 min on treadmill if I am feeling antsy. My rest day means no sweating :laugh:

I have tried both but find that I perform better on an empty stomach. When I eat first I tend to get a cramp in my side and feel heavy.

Doing Week 6 Day 1 tonight!! Great program, never thought I would actually be able to jog for 20 minutes but on Sunday I did and I didn't feel like I was going to die either. Well the last two minutes were tough but I did it. You can too!!!!

I just saw that the problem is mainly with dad's house. Maybe pack her some healthy snacks when she goes there so she at least has some better options.
