  • Keep with it as you will gradually build endurance. I started four weeks ago and had not done any sort of running/jogging since high school, many many years ago. I felt the same way but I stuck with it and so far I have not had to repeat any days/weeks. All three days will be the same so you are able to get used to it…
  • I usually eat two eggs 4 times a week. At first I was only eating one of the yolks but then after reading lots of opinions on this I realized that the yolk wasn't bad for me. Get some more information before you skip the yolks :)
  • I'm with you In January I weighed in at 260lbs and I am down to 224. It has been hard work and I attribute some of my success to the friends/supporters that I have on here. Friend me if you wish and I will do my best to support and encourage you on this journey.
  • Thank you for that! You just lifted me up and I didn't even realize that I needed to be lifted up. GOD is great:heart:
  • You are going to screw up. I'm going to screw up. We all are. What we do after we screw up is going to make the difference between getting/staying healthy or going back to our old ways. You will be successful in your goals because you did not continue on with the not so great choices but chose instead to get back at it!!!…
  • My lunchtime burn was and is usually around 375 and tonight is my C25K night so I will burn another 200. On the days that I don't do C25K I will typically burn another 200-400 depending on how intense my workout is.
  • Five months ago all Idrank was diet pepsi. I gradually and I mean gradually weaned myself off of it. It took me three months and now the only time I drink it is at a restaurant (I only drink filtered/spring water, no tap for me) or with a rum and coke. Believe it or not I don't particularly miss it. I NEVER thought I would…
  • I started C25K too (I'm curently on Week 4 Day 2 tomorrow) and I remember that feeling so well. I was scared and embarrassed and I was doing it on my treadmill in my house before my husband got home. I remember the fear thinking that I could not do it. That probably lasted through Week 2. Now I know I can do it, even if I…
  • I enjoy those spur of the moment outings but I usually try to exercise just a little more later that day or the next day just to make myself feel better about it!!!
  • You will fit fine!!! No worries :)
  • Im 229 and I started the C25K program two weeks ago. No you are not too big to start, especially if you are healthy as I am.
  • I'm in QA too. I'm the investigator for my company. I walk briskly during my lunch and I do break a sweat. I change into sweats and a t-shirt and then change back after a good wipe down with some nicely scented body wipes. I think that you should do what is best for you as long as you clean up and don't stink up the place…
  • My advice is to slow down. I am 36, 5ft and 229lbs and I am on Week 2 so if I can do it so can you :flowerforyou: Slow and steady. Even if you can't do the full time, walk and then jog again for as long as you are able. You will slowly build stamina. YOU CAN DO THIS!!
  • I think the key word for me here is deserve. I feel like I deserve to cheat on the weekends. I work so hard during the week that I deserve a reward. The issue is that we need to start rewarding ourselves wilthout using food to do it. Another thought that goes through my head when offered unhealthy but oh so yummy options…
  • I'll join your group. Starting Week 2 Day 1 tomorrow.
  • I eat all of mine back and I have lost 30lbs since Jan 7. If I didn't eat them back I would be netting like 500 calories and that would not be a good thing.
  • I too had an idea in my head of what would look good on me and ended up with a ball gown that I NEVER would have thought would look good on me. Try on all types of dresses, have your friends take pictures of you in each one so that you can remember what they look like (After five dresses you start to get really overwhelmed…
  • Here is something I posted to my page last week and wanted to share because I think it applies here. For a while now I've been telling myself that when I get to 220lbs I would start the C25K program. I don't know why I had it in my head that 220 was the weight I had to be before starting. I've been reading so many stories…
  • I'll join you. I just finished Week 1 of C25K and will be starting Week 2 Mon or Tues. The first day was tough but the next two days were totally doable. Let's encourage each other!!
  • This is one of my favorites and I don't typically cook. My husband does all the cooking but when he wants a night off this is what I will make. You can use any veggies that you like and season it according to your own tastes.
  • I just did my first day yesterday and I am slightly sore in my lower belly and groin area and my calves. I can not believe that I actually completed the first day and now I'm looking forward to doing it again tommorrow. I have been walkng at an incline for a few months now so maybe that is why I am not too sore. I think I…
  • Between the heat and all the walking you should be fine. I've been twice and have actually lost a little weight despite eating some of the yummy treats that they have to offer. Have fun!
  • I don't have an answer but the same thing happens to me. During the week I am pretty diligent about staying within my allotted calories and exercising but as soon as I slack off I see the loss. For example I was out of town Fri -Sun and did not exercise and there was a cheat day in there and now I am down 3lbs. I'm not…
  • bump
  • What a difference already! You look great. I bet you are feeling much better. Keep up the great work :flowerforyou:
  • Every Tuesday is TACO TUESDAY soooo I think I'm going to give this recipe a shot. Thanks for sharing :)
  • How many calories per serving?
