Finally did it!
Yesterday I ran for a full three miles. It took me 45 minutes but I did it. I started C25k in April and had not run at all since High School sports 20 years ago and even then I was never a runner. I did not think that I would be able to run when I started but I successfully completed the program which was to run 30 minutes…

TDEE-20% and Moderate Exercise Clarification
So I just switched to this method and just want to clarify. The number of calories that I am given is the amount that I am supposed to actually eat and then I don't eat back any exercise calories right? Example 1900 calories allotted Exercise burns 500 calories I still eat 1900 and that won't put me into "starvation mode"…

So, I hear that abs are made in the kitchen

Please help me to know I'm not crazy.
I am 5 feet 1 inch and weigh 224lbs and 36 years old. MFP has me at 1200 calories which has been working as I have lost 36lbs on it. I feel like maybe it is time to look into the TDEE-20% method as my weight loss has slowed/stalled. I have a desk job but I exercise (moderately) 6 times per week for about an hour each time.…

My NSV
For a while now I've been telling myself that when I get to 220lbs I would start the C25K program. I don't know why I had it in my head that 220 was the weight I had to be before starting. I've been reading so many stories of people who started running who weighed more than 220 so I've been psyching myself up and today, at…
