Great job!!! I have 40lbs to go to get under 200 but I cannot wait for that day!!! I'm sure that you are about bursting with excitement. I think maybe you deserve a pedicure :)

I know that I couldn't do it because I would over indulge on the five days. I could easily do the fast days. I am not going to risk it. Eating healthy (ish) and keeping my calories around 1200 each day has helped me to get into a healthier routine. Good luck to you.

I felt the same way when I got started two months ago. Even now I started to watch the 30 Day Shred video on utube and just watching was intimidated. It takes about a month to make something a routine so start by setting small achievable goals such as cutting back how much pop you drink, exercising for 15 minutes, packing…

That's great! Just remember that you may have days that you skip your workout or overeat and the key is to get right back on the wagon the next day. We all slip up and we have to forgive ourselves and refocus ASAP! That is one thing that I have finally learned. One screwup will not undo all the hard work. Keep up the good…

Great Job!!!

My first thought was don't eat it but then I thought I would probably cut it into pieces and freeze it for those days that you deserve a little something sweet. BTW I hate when people send me home with the food I brought I always try to convince them to keep it. LOL. I guess that doesn't work with a birthday cake that was…

I will have two or three pieces of Hershey's bliss dark chocolate daily, usually after dinner and I never feel like I'm denying myself the sweets! Choose whatever candy you like and buy a bag of individual pieces and figure out how many calories that you want to devote to your sweet tooth and have them as dessert.

You are beautiful and your body is my opinion of perfection.

I'm thinking that fourth will probably make you feel guilty and possibly sick. I hope I was able to stop you in time. LOL

don't do it

What exactly should weight training entail? I have been walking on treadmill for two months and want to add some strength training but have no idea what to do. Any pointers for a first timer who has no clue?

Great, now you've got me thinking about cookies. LOL I'll just drink more water!!! Good luck cookie monster!!

I only drank diet pepsi for years and years. When I started this new lifestyle I continued to drink it for the first month and then the second month I cut it in half. Now I'm only drinking about 20oz each day. Never thought I could give it up. I just really like the taste. I drink 10-14 cups of water per day now and don't…

I think it's ok that you hit bottom and cried it out. Everyone needs to do that every now and again, especially when faced with numerous life challenges at once. They victory here is that you were able to have that moment and then make the decision to move forward. Remember we all have struggles and it would be so easy to…

We all have setbacks. Cry and feel bad for a bit and then pick yourself up and remember that tomorrow is a new day. Start fresh tomorrow :) Maybe write down how this setback made you feel as a reminder the next time that you are feeling like splurging. It is ok, you can do this :)

Ugh did you just hint at Cadbury Creme Eggs? I have to say I hate you. I have been trying to avoid them since they are soooooo yummmyy and terrible for me. Thanks for reminding me that they exist. LOL

You can do this. It really is about a lifestyle change. I agree with another post that said it takes 2-3 weeks to form a routine. I thought that I would never be able to drink water but after a couple weeks of making a conscious effort it has become a routine. The first thing I do in the morning is fill up my water bottle…

Yes, definately. Great job!!

I'm fat and I hate it too. I vowed to get healthier and lose weight and have been slowly. I started Jan 7th and I'm down 16lbs. It is hard work but I don't want to be fat anymore so I know I have to stick to it. You can do this!!!

I keep healthy snacks, low cal, in my desk for just those moments. And I have a large water bottle that I keep full and sip throughout the day.
-
I have 100lbs to lose too and I have been focusing on smaller goals with that being my ultimate goal. I am at 15lbs lost now and can't wait for 20 and then I will be excited for the next 20. I think that having the ultimate goal at the back of my mind helps but smaller incremental goals make it seem much more doable.

I got on the treadmill for a half hour even though I have a cold and so wanted to skip it.

Happy Birthday!!! You look amazing!

One other thing.... I have taken to scheduled snacks in between my meals so that I don't get to the point of being hungry and then binging. I use treadmill for 45 min at lunchtime and then have a slimfast shake. After work I get on treadmill for 45-60 minutes and then eat dinner soon after. I have gone from drinking hardly…

Don't do it. If you do, try to eat less junk then you normally would and plan to exercise more to make up for it. I often get urges to pig out and when I can't resist I try to pig out less than I would have two months ago. Ugh, it is so hard. You can do it, just remember that we are all in this together and someone else is…

You look amazing and I enjoyed your wordy post as it shows how hard you worked to get where you are. Keep up the good work :)

Thanks for sharing those pics. I actually look very similar to you but I am not brave enough to post pics.Love that you can now see your collar bones! Can't wait to see mine :)

I understand your frustration. I have gone from sedentary to exercising about an hour and a half a day, I've cut my calories in half and have reduced my intake of pop and started drinking 8+ glasses of water daily. I have lost 14lbs since January 7th. I feel like the pounds should be falling off of me because I made such…
