I hate all of you :( Now I want oreos dipped in peanut butter dipped in chocolate sauce. Ugh. Wait I think I heard somebody say that these were a negative calorie snack. Well in that case........

For walking and running MFP gives me twice the burn then I deserve.

I agree with the pics and measurements. I also wish I had started by using the TDEE-20% method instead of starving at 1200 calories. Eat more to weigh less. Love it!!!

HOLY CRAP!! You look stunning. Yes I said stunning! I loved your story too and was getting anxious to find out how it ended. I'm so glad I stuck with it because Wow!! That's it. WOW

Love this, thank for sharing. Here is a similar story that I like to refer to and refer my friends to http://flintland.blogspot.com/2012/05/hey-fat-girl.html

It has been HOT!!! This fat girl runs on the treadmill at home and it has been hot doing that so I can't imagine how hot it would be outside. Stay cool!!!

This and also don't be intimidated by what is coming the next week. You may think that you aren't ready to progress but you will probably surprise yourself :)

I agree that you shouldn't worry what other people think. But I know that I would probably worry too :) I did look at your pic and you look great. I love the bikini, it looks really good on you. I suggest wearing whatever you will be comfortable in so that you enjoy your time and don't spend it worrying.

Try having a protein based snack before you start your workouts and/or between workouts. Also protein after the workout to aid in recovery. Drink plenty of water and make sure you are getting plenty of sleep too. Just a couple simple suggestions. Good luck!!! You are almost there :)

Make small changes at first. Start walking for 10 minutes per day and gradually increase each week. Start replacing sugary drinks with water. Make your portions slightly smaller until they eventually become what they should be. Make small goals for yourself. DO NOT think of how much you have to lose as one big amount. Make…

Every morning my husband and I have a basic smoothie that involves 1 banana, a 1 cup measuring cup full of frozen strawberries, 1 cup of oj and 1 cup of light vanilla yogurt. It's delicious and keeps me full until my mid morning snack. It is a little over 200 hundred calories for each of us and it makes a pretty big glass…

This brought a tear to my eye, really that must have felt great!!! So many times we think that those "in shape/fit people" are judging us when in reality they are often quite impressed that we are busting our butts to get healthier!!! Keep at it :)

Thanks I will do that!!!

Every day I have a little something I consider a treat, a few squares of dark chocolate or a bowl of ice cream. Usually on the weekend I know there will be one day that I go over on my calories but I also try to be more active on the weekends. I don't stress about it because if I didn't allow myself to eat what I love I…

Oh yeah the heat definately has an impact on breathing during exertion and boy has it been HOT!!!

I just want to chime in that your weight may not be the problem. I am 5'1" and started C25K at 235lbs and I didn't have any respiratory problems. I mean I struggled with my breathing because I was so out of shape but as soon as I stopped running I was able to get my breath back no problem. Are you certain that you don't…

bump because I was about to post the same question.

That is awesome! As a new runner myself I totally remember how thrilled I was each time I met a goal of running for a longer period of time. I'd brag to my husband "Oh yeah I just ran 3min, 8min, 22 min" I started C25K in April and just last week I was able to brag that I ran for 40 min straight. You will keep achieving…

You are brilliant!! I wish I could think on my feet like that :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

If you run you are a runner, regardless of speed. I run pretty slow but I blame my short legs for that :) Depending on whether I use the treadmill at home or ones in the gym and even the one in the shoe store my speed ranges from 3.6mph to 4.5mph. Don't be intimidated if you are a "slow" runner, you are still a runner…

Many MFPers put in their homemade meals so if you input what you are served you might fight a suitable match to put something in your log until you get more familiar with guessing for yourself. Enjoy your dinner with friends :)

You look lovely in both dresses and uh your arms look just fine!!!! I don't see any loose skin at all :)

Your shoes have to be the right ones for you based on your feet and how you run. I will tell you that a good pair of shoes really does make a difference. I went to the specialty store and tried a pair they made my feet hot so I returned them, the next pair made my calves feel tight so I returned them and the third pair was…

Great job making a choice to move more even when there is an easier way. It sounds like you have already started making better choices for yourself. Its really a personal choice. I choose to only count continuous intentional exercise that gets my heart rate up (walking, jogging) or out of the norm exercise like painting…

If it helps as a reference. I am also 5'1", 36 years old and 215lbs. I have been steadily losing on 1500-1700 calories, depending on the day. I started at 1200 and lost in the beginning and then my loss stalled so after researchng I decided to increase my calories and have been losing since then. It really is sort of a…

That is great!!! I'm still working on getting up to 3 miles so I totally appreciate how challenging that must have been. Keep up the great work :)

Great Job!!! It sounds like you did this the healthy way and I just know that you will be able to maintain your healthy lifestyle. You are an inspiration!!!
