Molly Ringwald and Christina Applegate. When I was in elementary school, it was Christy McNichol. hmmm....I may have a thing for freckles I guess. lol

43. I had to hit rock bottom before I finally decided to take action. Lots of hints and motivators in the previous years, including a heart attack at 37. But it took the Lord getting me to an absolute miserable state before I finally started listening to him in my head and got off my butt. A little over a year later, down…

Coca Cola, samich and fireflys. Also, a sofa is a devan. Also...a burlap bag is a toe sack, a paper bag is a paper poke and roofing tin is sheet iron. :)

This! I live alone and probably go through a jar a week. Tuna, beef and Peanut butter are my 3 main protein sources, but not all at once!

Its math. Calories in vs. calories you burn. Gotta get into a deficit if you want to burn fat reserves. Don't go below 1200 cal per day. 1600 for dudes.

Great job! You look terrific!

Ozarks region of Southern Missourah. :) We should be two states...we don't really count St. Louis. lol

I have a weird thing about symmetry. If something is out of kilter or lop sided, it drives me nuts! Colors not so much, mostly size or shape. Also, I wrote then Governor Bill Clinton a parking ticket when I was in college for parking in a bus lane. I also wrote up the three staff cars and two state troopers that had…

Your cardiologist is full of crap. Its not WHAT we eat, its the amount. A serving of beef is 3 to 4 oz. Roughly the size of a deck of cards or a 1st generation Android phone. Find a new one... Here's some references for you. http://www.beef.org/udocs/Beef%20Bytes%20Health.pdf…

Down 99 lbs. 34 more to go. Went to see George Strait in April 2014. Quite the milestone for me. Everything that has been said is mostly true. The biggest thing you have to due is (to quote Strother Martin in Cool Hand Luke) is "get your mind right". Without the proper attitude and finally deciding to do it for yourself ,…

1 medium supreme pizza 1/2 gallon bunny tracks ice cream 44 oz of lemonade All in ONE sitting! :( That was my Saturday night ritual. Don't even WANT to know the calories and numbers on that....now it just seems INSANE! I have went from 333 lbs. to 235 as of this morning. NEVER going back!

I find it ironic that "vegetarians" go out of their way to try and duplicate meat with fake meat products in order to satiate a craving and a desire that is inherently engrained in us as a species....and YET, I have never as an omnivorous being gone out of my way to find "substitutes" for any food groups whatsoever. Kind…

I live in the country as well and find it difficult to run/walk when the weather is crappy. But...when its decent...I love it. I have miles and miles of countryside to look at and don't have to worry too much about traffic or people. etc. Use what you have. Be creative and improvise. I love the episode of the biggest loser…

Not really at the gym, but there is an older guy who runs 15Ks around here who is probably in his mid 50s, very lean and wears spandex running short shorts (leopard print) and a crop top spandex shirt that only comes about to his nipples and a sweat band. I think he only wears the shirt to pin a number to. Its one of…

According to some research, having dessert after a meal is actually a good idea in that it triggers the brain to shut down the hunger sensation. I usually have a piece of fruit, raisins, muscle milk chocolate or something along that line after a meal. The more I've exercised that day, the more calories I allow myself for a…

93 lbs. since June 14, 2013. Strict 1600 calorie intake. Avoid processed food, too much dairy, bread and sugar. Walking and cross fit anywhere from 2 to 5 times a week depending on what's going on in the world. Went from walking a 1/4 mile from the house to run/walking 5ks. Hard work, but WORTH it!
