I can't even do knee pushups too well, in part due to wrist pain & because I can't handle my body weight, although doing turbo I move around much more easily.
-
Well I haven't done yoga but since I started eating better & working out, my tummy feels wonderful! before I would wake up around 4 am with bad tummy pains!
-
ugh! I retain water BAD! but as i began to workout & lose weight, the swelling is very rare & yes sodium makes it 10x worse and the time of the month!
-
Our bodies are so odd! when I first began this road! first week BAM 7 lbs, 2nd week 12! then 3! i was shocked but loved it! However, I didn't see much of a change except in my face a bit! that's 20 lbs, you would think i'd see a drastic change right? then I began strength training and that week when I weighed in, only went…

I do TurboFire & I love it, she's motivating, musics fun but it's not so Zumba, when it comes to dancing i suck lol it gives you a schedule, which is exactyly what i needed/wanted! Even a nutrition guide, to help you get started on what to eat or not! it has aerobics, abs, toning & it has HIIT workouts, which I LOVE! ...…

Thanks :) I will try that. I have arthritis and they say that drinking green tea can help the inflamation which would be great, i hate taking so many pills
-
is it better to drink hot or cold? does it make a difference? i am so new to teas lol
-
I bought that one and I just dont enjoy it but i want to drink it, for all of its benefits! what can i add without taking away from the health benefits
-
I do move the scale to weigh myself, I think once i move, I need to find a spot for it where I don't need to move it.
-
Thank You! & wow you DO SOUND BUSY! lol but I think you are right! I will have to work out a whole schedule for my life lol including taking the time to make food ahead of time for the week!
-
I am doing turbofire and i love it but then again never tried a Jillian video.
-
My question isn't about the insanity workout BUT you mentioned feeling pain until you changed your shoes! Well i've started having knee pain and i purchased some running shoes, I wonder if that's what's causing it, it's so odd, some days its EXTREMELY painful, others im okay, sometimes the pain alternates from knees or…
-
yeah, ive added strength training BUT bad knees :( IDK if my weight caused the sudden pain, bad form when doing squats or my body in shock lol
-
So you think alternating the HIIT workouts would be as effective? i was following the schedule but about a week ago it was thrown off due to school and group meetings etc etc lol and when i was suppose to do a regular 45, I didn't have time so i did the 25 HIIT!
-
I was wondering would the program be as effective if you only did the HIIT workouts? I enjoy the regular ones and the HIIT videos BUT im SO BUSY! the shorter the better, so i was wondering if it would work if i alternated the hitt workouts.
Sure. Have the donut if there's room for it and you're hitting your other macros (protein/carb/fat). I have a nice 250 calorie beer now and then. Sometimes a few a week. Still losing.
well it's nice to know that every once in a while if i give in, it won't completely throw me off! been about a month since…

okay, i am curious because im not that great with nutrition as well so say i eat a donut, i can get away with it, as long as i stay under my calorie intake? although, im sure it's best if i avoid the donut lol
-
im no expert and not good with numbers and percentages! I just track calories and work out! What i noticed with myself was i was dropping weight really fast with just cardio, in one week at one point 12 lbs yet I didnt feel much of a difference! about a week and a half ago i began lifting weights, i wld just go with the…

I'm not an expert but I asked my friend the same question because i was incredibly sore, I pushed myself so hard i couldnt even move around in bed! He said best way to help ease the soreness was to drink protein shakes, it feeds the muscle! & yes epsom bath salts!
-
This is just amazing! congratulations! definitely motivates me to keep going!
-
Completely agree! since ive cut out junk food, i feel better! i sleep better, just over all better! & im all for being healthy. :D

Oh sweetie don't get depressed, our weights will fluctuate. Yeah, Sodium & i are not friends. my feet use to swell really bad and i was thinking WHY WHY WHY? well i was on the "diet soda" is better than regular soda, boy was i wrong! so i just gave it all up, i drink only water. yeah everywhere i go i ask for the nutrition…
-
yeah ive read articles where it's said that it's 20% exercise and 80% diet. When i started i was eating healthy but wasn't ready (scared) to start working out and i was slowly losing weight but once i began working out, the lbs were just melting off.
-
Oh i know, i always ask for the nutritional guides and jeez, even what's 'healthy" is full of sodium and sugars, it's really scary to think that at one point, i wld go for items on the menu that were like 700 calories and just that item, not including fries, sodas!
-
oh that's awesome! Thanks. it helps since sometimes i'm really busy and have no time to prepare meals and something quick rarely offers much variety on healthier options besides salads! although, i prefer home cooked meals so much better tasting lol :D

I was going to a weight loss center but it was very expensive, they said i should cut out all bread but if i really wanted to eat bread, just ONE slice of whole wheat. It's so confusing at times, some people say you shouldn't eat it, others say you should. Example; this place told me to cut out ALL cereals, dairy products,…
