I just read that you are afraid of water. I completely get that trust me. But maybe try my other suggestions. I am a fainter too, but I have a bad heart, so our situations aren't the same. I would really look into the vagal response, though. Taking the temp of your drink up a bit is a safe harmless thing to at least give a…

I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but perhaps drink cold but NOT freezing water. There is something called a vagus nerve that can be effected by the icey water shooting down a heated up body. The result can be fainting. Some people even have to drink their water room tem but that might make you nauseated. I'd…

AWSOME! I have noticed with daily excercise I def have more energy, but the docs keep saying it will help with the pain but it makes it so much worse

I'm sorta in the same boat. Lost my motivation for 6 months while my child was on chemo. I'm working on getting it back now. I do wii dance dance revolution. I'd be happy to try and help
-
I swim at the gym 3 times a week and do cardio at home the other days. My goal is always to work out everyday though. I'm mixing it up between 1 hr swimming, 1 hr dancing, and 10 minute body workouts

Thanks girls. I have direct tv. I just got it. Is there somewhere on there to get fitness videos that I don't know about?

Can you still eat the same but cut your portions in half?
-
That's tough. MOST of my friends are healthy eaters, so I don't face that often. I honestly don't know what I'd do. I'm the type who would eat it to make her happy, but I can't imagine forcing down garbage. Sorry. I hope she isn't mad.

I'm not a fan of salad dressing but my dd is. To replace it, I would squeeze a tomato into a bowl, add chives, and some Mrs. Dash seasonings. then pour that on her salad. She loved it. Turkey is low and a lot of fish is also low.
-
I agree. Nothing canned, boxed, or otherwise processed. I used all raw ingredients
-
I had to cook this way for my dd while she was in kidney failure. We used a lot of Mrs. dash no salt seasonings. They are delicious. You will be forced to prepare all of your own foods. It is definately hard but you get used to it after a while. I made chili, tacos, fish, even blts on occasion

Probably making a trip to the hospital with my poor son, wii DDR, dinner with hubbs and finish the house remodel if son doesn't have to stay in hosp.
-
It is pricey but I had a delicious healthy salad at the coral reef rest in epcot

That's so cool. I remembered some of them from when my son was in for the same thing 3 years ago. Congrats on your remission btw! That is encouraging

Thatd be hard to work there. Can you leave for breaks? I couldn;t leave her. Well could but wouldn't
-
That is so awsome. Our fruit menu said apple banana. literally that was it.
-
Thanks! Ya she had those nurses wrapped around her little finger. It was very sweet. Those nurses will always have a special place in my heart forever!
-
I have her on a very very healthy diet and her doctor swears that's why she is in remission. He keeps saying she should have by all medical reasoning died 6 months ago.
-
Crazy. We were at St. Jude also one you'd expect more from
-
I am sorry!. i hope you are well. She loved it. Chicken nuggets every meal. gag
-
