Hey everyone. I would like to get toned (NOT RIPPED) by summer. I have seen a lot of great workout videos that sorta target the whole body and mix it up, but after having my child on chemo for 6 months I don't wanna spend money if I don't absolutely HAVE to. Does anyone know of any good workouts on you tube or maybe something I can buy that really does work, so I don't waste any money? I appreciate any help

Search for ZWOD on YouTube. I've heard good things about Zuzana's workouts. I am doing bodyrock.tv challenge currently. You can check that out too, just go on www.bodyrock.tv.

If you have On Demand Cable they usually have some free ones on there!

In addition to ZWOD or the bodyrock.tv website you can try the following:

www.exercisetv.tv - although partly subscriber only, there are plenty of free full-length workout videos, whether it is high intensity you are after, yoga, pilates, circuit training, you name it - some are gentle some are brutal.

    For pilates, try www.ultimatepilatesworkouts.com/

These will all give you lots of different choices. I am a big fan of the Jillian Michaels DVD as well (and they now cost around 10 bucks in most places), however they wont give you that much variety - yes, the exercises differ from DVD to DVD and from each level to the next, but it is always high intensity cardio plus resistance - sometimes I just like doing Pilates or Yoga or just want a lower body workout.

    Good luck!
  • Thanks girls. I have direct tv. I just got it. Is there somewhere on there to get fitness videos that I don't know about?

On itunes, search "fit for duty". It's a series of free podcasts that have a wide range of full length work outs. I'm a stay at home mom and have lost over 30 lbs in 4 months using these videos!

I am so sorry about what you have gone through with the chemo. I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been, especially being your child. I wish you all the best.
You can find lots of used exercise videos cheap at places like Goodwill, used book/video stores, etc. Or, borrow from friends. Everyone has at least one exercise video collecting dust in their house. :)

There are workout vids on Fit TV at like 4-5am....I usually will record them and just save them on my DVR so I can use them whenever I can.....also I can just keep the ones that I can do that are not too much for me right now.

Yep :D Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred level 1 is for sure on youtube ;)

    Level 1
