  • my go-to's when I am feeling poor are beans, tuna, and frozen veggies. One of my favorites meals is a burrito bowl with black beans, frozen veggies and salsa (I also sprinkle some cumin and chili powder over it). If you want to you could add rice as well which is also cheap.

  • Yup I am a late night worker outer too. I've heard that eating something like fruit or a smoothie isn't good because of the sugar in fruit, but I don't really have any data to back that up. Still I am usually hungry after I work out so I usually have a little bit of cottage cheese or string cheese.
