I'd eat 2200 calories a day and don't eat any of your exercise calories back. You need to start strength training and work on doing higher intensity intervals as opposed to long drawn out cardio. Also, learn to drink your coffee black. It's going to be a more difficult to lose weight as you get smaller. You don't want to…

I mean you could spend the money on it or you could just track your weight automatically. I prefer the $15 dollar method. I can enter my own weight and make my own graphs. I don't need to pay $130 for that.

There's no such thing as toning. You either lose muscle, maintain muscle or build muscle. You can't tone it. Same with fat. If you want to lose fat you need to eat at a calorie deficit and where you lose fat will be completely dependent on your genetics. If you want to build muscle you need to eat at a surplus and strength…

That's way too long to read. As far as fructose goes there are foods with fructose in them that are very healthy for you. Fructose is a naturally occurring sugar that can be found in the healthiest of foods. I will also point out that you can't ignore the impact that sugar has had on the diets of the western world. You can…

Exercise absolutely helps with weight loss. Whoever says that is very uninformed, a liar, or just want an excuse to be lazy. Exercising burns calories, when you're trying to eat at a deficit burning calories is a great way to be able to eat more calories or give you leeway to screw up. Secondly strength training, the best…

The answer to strength training is always yes. When you cut calories you lose weight in two forms. You lose fat and you lose muscle. In order to maintain as much muscle as possible people who are cutting need to strength train. Why is it important to keep muscle? Well muscle requires more energy than fat on a daily basis.…

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can do all the crunches, v-ups, planks, etc in the world. It's going to make your abdominal muscles stronger, but it won't make your body lose fat in your belly. Where you lose fat is completely dependent on your genetics. Sorry.

Well hard to tell you when I don't know what your resources or goals are. If you have access to a gym you could easily do something like this http://www.muscleandfitness.com/workouts/workout-routines/complete-mf-beginners-training-guide-0. If you have the funds and don't want to think about creating a plan you could hire a…

It really depends on your ability level. I know people in their 50s that can out perform me in the CrossFit gym. I also know people in their 50s who are so out of shape and overweight that can barely walk 5 minutes without being out of breath. If you can do basic movements I'd suggest trying a full body workout. If you…

Whether you should bulk or cut should be up to you not anyone else. If you want to add muscle, bulk. If you want to lose fat, cut. It's your body and you have to live in it. Make it look like what you want it to look like.

not likely. Sleep takes precedence over hunger everyday for me hahahahahahahaha.

Just because you lost weight doesn't mean you're in shape. Metabolic conditioning takes times. Put in the work you'll get the returns. Just take it a day at a time.

Also, you could do something awesome like this http://www.muscleandfitness.com/workouts/workout-routines/complete-mf-beginners-training-guide-0

#1. Get over it. Getting your body to where you want it to be is going to require being uncomfortable. If being healthy and in shape was comfortable everyone would be doing it. #2. The majority of those "machines" are not necessary for a good workout. In fact, most machines hinder workouts by providing unhelpful stability…

I will also tell you the easiest way to be successful is to keep it simple. Literally when I started eating to perform I kept it simple and I was incredibly successful. I would take a meat marinade it in a weber or grill mates marinade (using olive oil of course) bake it and pair it with a frozen veggie or a piece of…

Well, for starters getting the body you want requires work. Keeping the body you have does not. It's human nature not to want to do extra work. Second, its easier to stay motivated when you see quick results. I know so many people that are sold on a fad diet because they lost 10 lbs in a week and then are pissed and lose…

You can google it to get an estimation, but to be honest it's going to be different for everyone. It depends on a lot of things, how much of that 230 lbs is fat, how much is muscle, the intensity at which you did the swings, etc. You likely won't find two calculators that give you the same results. If you're really…

False, se pa vre, es falso, not true. If you eat more calories than your body can burn in a day it store the calories as fat. What type of food you eat is not going to do anything to change that. I doubt the people saying this are consuming 5,000 calories a day. It's very likely that because they don't eat any animal by…

First of all, unless you weigh 64 lbs you're not drinking nearly enough water. If you are 64 pounds you need to stop trying to lose weight. Second, it's impossible to help you when we don't know your age, gender, weight, and have more information about the amount of daily activity to you because 10,000 steps is great, but…

That's weird because the numbers I'm pulling is saying 97% lean ground turkey has 26 g of protein for 4 oz and 97% lean beef has 24 g protein for 4 oz. But the numbers I'm pulling up on mfp are way different. My sources probably aren't great, but I don't trust the USDA either. Maybe when the National Turkey Federation is…

I like to get mixed spring greens from aldi, chop some random veggies to add to it, buy a rotisserie chicken and make my own paleo (meaning sugar free) italian dressing. Mix it all together and you have no cooking necessary salad with fat, protein, and carbs. I also do Taco Salads all the time. Super easy, brown some beef,…

Don't be too general. Injuries can happen. It's always a risk in any form of physical activity. I mean, I was always getting hurt in school sports back in the day. Just know that if you have an injury it doesn't mean you have a bad coach and know that even the best coach can't always prevent an injury. I mean we had a girl…

Will they allow me to do it if I have shoulder injuries? Yes Will my injuries get in the way? Not necessarily but you'll find yourself doing a lot of squats, deadlifts, etc (not necessarily a bad thing They offer a start class but I'm still nervous as strength isn't my strong point. That really doesn't matter. You'll build…

getitamb your boobs look fantastic in that swim top. I'm super jealous! I hope my boobs look that good in a swim top one day.

Yeah I finally found 97% and 90% lean beef. I think if I added an egg to the 97% lean beef it would make it stick together better and give it more protein. Ground poultry has significantly more protein than lean beef so I think I'm going to try to stick with that, unless the egg maneuver works well and tastes yummy.

Age: 26 Occupation: I'm an underpaid over abused desk monkey for the State of Missouri College (alum/current student): University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Looking into programs in either a Masters in Finance or a PhD in Economics but right now I have to much student debt to go back to school Location: Missouri …

GET OVER IT! If you're going to constantly let your self worth be defined by how comfortable you are in a situation you're never going to be successful at anything. The best things in life don't happen in your comfort zone. Being fat and unhealthy is comfortable, getting results is not.

No dairy :(. All that crap makes me swell up like a balloon. Yeah I used to eat a couple of Avocados a week. Unfortunately they started giving me heartburn :-1: :which is apparently really common because of their fat content. But it makes me sad. I'm hoping maybe once I lose more weight and get healthier I'll be able to…

Let's just shut up about the exact numbers shall we? I mean are any of you really researchers in the field of aerobic and anaerobic activity? Likely not. Let's just keep showing photos and stop arguing. All that is happening with this petty bickering is that I want to go have a beer and Hops is not part of my eat to…

It sounds to me like you're not properly stretching. Make sure you're really stretching out your hip flexors, hamstrings, lower back, quads, etc. Also foam rolling is magical. A lot of time aches and pains are not from injury or damage to the area that hurts it's from tightness in the muscles, tendons, and ligaments…
