Cheesy, I work at Lane Bryant so getting bra extenders is no problem. I just hate to buy stuff that's too small :( and that doesn't solve the current problem that I have a dozen bras that are too big.

I have had bison before. I used to live near a bison farm, but now that I moved I have no idea where I'd get it from. I struggle with my protein intake so I think from now on I've got to focus on the ground poultry as opposed to red meat.

That is crazy! I've lost 25lbs so far and have only dropped 1 pants size! My fat is pretty evenly distributed across my body though. From my ankles to my chin lol. I went from a 22 to an 18/20 depending on the brand of pants but I'm still working! More impressively (and to my annoyance because you can't buy these at thrift…

Yes, it's called DOMS, Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. The soreness is caused when lactic acid builds up in the tiny tears in your muscle and by inflammation. I've been sore so many times I can tell you exactly how long it takes for me to get sore and how long it will last by how severe it is. Being sore is a good sign that…

I have a polar H4 and I love it but to be honest, I never use it. I used it a few times at crossfit and it ends up getting shut off because my wrists are bent in front rack position or something. I mean if you really want one I'd go for Polar, but to be honest you really don't need one.

I was chosen to be this month's MVP at my gym! I'm in awe!!! How does a gordita like myself (hahahan gordita) inspire so many fit people? I am so very honored! I might be the slowest but I'll be damned if I'm not trying my hardest! And I was screwing around on the rig yesterday before my wod started just to see how close I…

It's very likely that if she's craving sugar this bad she is addicted to it. (All an addiction is is your brain telling you that you need something you don't need so let's not argue about whether you can be addicted to sugar or not). It's like asking a heroine addict why not just do one hit, not quite as immediately…

Oh god I love tomatoes! I have a hunch that this is a "troll" under the bridge. Maybe trolls don't need protein or fat. Maybe they weren't eating the goats they were just using their skin for new speedos.

I'm going to tell you a few things. #1 don't be embarrassed to modify movements. I've been working out for six months straight and I don't modify my movements, but I scale a good portion of them. But at the same time if you can do a couple of full strength movements, but not an entire workout then start with the hardest…

I personally loathe PF, but do what you gotta do. Don't do that! It's true that weight loss is all about what you eat; however, optimal health requires you to be active. Even if that involves joining intramurals and forgoing the gym membership. I find the judgement free zone to be Crossfit :). And then there's this. The…

Wait, what? It sounds like you're looking up workouts, which yes will encompass the entire body. Look for moves and create your own workout. There are tons of workouts you could do. Bench press, strict press, curls, any dumb bell movements that don't involve hip mobility, strict pull ups, ring dips, ring rows. There's a…

I was thinking the same thing. It's super easy to spot a back squat especially if you have two spotters.
-
There's nothing wrong with benching in the rack so long as there are enough racks to go around. If you go to a gym that has one squat rack and multiple bench press areas set up don't bench in the rack. The reason people criticize it is often times people benching in the rack doesn't allow others to squat in it. But if you…

eat at maintenance and lift really heavy weights.
-
That's a terrible idea, but I'm going to bite the bullet and ask why?
-
Thanks!
-
Yeah they're new. That's real stupid.
-
To be honest this is true for most machines. The only machines I endorse are the rower and the bike.
-
There are a lot of alternatives to barbell squats. You can just do air squats, you can do kettle bell squats, weighted vest squats, barbell squats. The problem with machines is they allow your muscles that help with stabilization (mostly your core) to be lazy because the machine stabilizes your body for you. You're much…

A. Everyone is staring at you. What do you expect them to do? Flex in the mirror in between sets? That would be douchey. B. Get over it. Part of changing your body involves stepping out of your comfort zone. Give it 6 months and people will be giving you "the nod." C. If you aren't sure on form ask someone to help you.…

If it's that low then you shouldn't be cutting by 20% because you don't gave much weight to lose and you definitely are not active enough.
-
Fad diets are the worst! I should add, when you calculate TDEE you don't eat back your exercise calories.
-
She's technically right. Going low carb isn't going to make you lose weight. 20 grams is ridiculously low considering you should be getting more fiber than that daily. Fad diets aren't the answer to success. Being smart about what you put into your body is and considering you should be eating a minimum of 25 grams of fiber…

I'm not doing low carb per say but I believe my macros are set at P40% F40% C20% and I don't eat grains. I don't consider it low carb I just eat this way because I eat to perform, and my HDL is low so gotta up the healthy fats

I have a lot of weight to lose. At least 100 lbs probably more, but I take it 10 to 25 pounds at a time. No use fretting over 100 lbs to lose when you can't lose the first 25.
-
First of all, you're not eating enough. Go to iifym.com, click TDEE calculator, calculate your TDEE and multiply that number by 0.8. That's how much you should be eating. 2nd, know that your body weight can fluctuate 10 or more pounds a day. It takes more than one bad week to determine whether you're really not losing…
-
You're completely setting yourself up for failure. This is not going to help you. If you lose weight doing this you're going to gain it all back once you start eating food. If you want to lose weight go to www.iifym.com. go to the TDEE calculator, calculate your TDEE and multiply that number by 0.8. That's your daily…

You "need" motivation because you're starving girl, eat something. Go to iifym.com's TDEE calculator. Calculate your TDEE and multiply it by 0.8. That's how many calories you should be eating. I doubt it's 1200.

So if you work 12 hour shifts are you only working 3 days a week? That leaves 4 days to go to the gym. If you wait to find the time you'll never find it. There's always something more that needs to be done. You have to make the time and sometimes it means putting other things off. I understand the struggle. I work 55 hours…

Feel free to add me. I'm happy to be supportive. What I can tell you about motivation though is it's unreliable. I'd suggest discipline not motivation  .
