  • Hi from Prince George, BC. Love Timmies.... not a hockey fan though. Having a fantastic winter here - little snow, sunny days. Would love to join group with fellow Canucks to keep motivated!
  • Haha hilarious!! Love it! Wow 5 kiddies - good on ya :-) Just take weight loss day by day. It's a lot easier to get motivated for 1 day than 30 :-)
  • Hi There I have 20lbs to lose too! I have struggled with my weight ever since I can remember and have tried all the fad diets. I am calorie counting but trying to eat as few carbs as I can by making healthier substitutions. I live in Canada but am originally from Wales and used to be a Vegetarian but am now a meat eater. I…
  • Well done! An amazing transformation :-)
  • Pushups take time and technique to get better at. You'll start noticing that the reps become easier and you'll get lower.......... Just keep at it........ :)

  • Holy crap! Fantastic! You've just perked my motivation again.......... Well done :-)
  • The weekends are the worst and wine is my nemesis. I, like you, will definitely eat something that I Really want, but I am learning to REALLY want it. For example - my hubby surprised me with a romantic night away and we had red wine (lots) and cheese and meat platter (lots :-) ) but there was no way that I was going to…
  • You look fantastic. I'm starting with a personal trainer in 2 weeks to start a heavy weights programme. Can't wait to start my 'pear' transformation ;-)
  • Log everything. Good and not so good food choices. Try to start thinking how much food you could've eaten that would amount to same calories as the 2 Hershey bars you ate............. Probably the equivalent of 2 meals. You could've had a nice full belly with no guilt :-) Baby steps......... Log 1st then make better…
  • This is exactly what I found too. 80/20 is what works for me and I've done the kill myself at the gym, low carb, weight watchers, slimming world, South beach.......... These were all too regimented, expensive and soul destroying for me. I did a half marathon last year and trained really hard and didn't lose any weight. By…
  • No not really........ Good for getting heart rate up but I don't really count it as exercise.
  • Hi I'm 35 and am convinced my body turned against me from the day I turned 30  Would love to add some 30 somethings to my friends and hopefully we can help motivate each other.
  • Hi I'm 5ft 6in and 152lbs. I want to get to 140lbs but toned also. I always struggle to lose weight on my butt and lose off my chest first. I'm going to try weight lifting with a little cardiovascular to see whether it helps with my shape.
