I have never run in my life. I started the c25k program and am currently on week 5. I jog very, very......very slowly. But the fact that I have even gotten this far fills me with pride and wonder. And I have seen that most people i come across on the trails are very supportive. So go for it!

Thanks Mirrim! I do use a digital food scale but find it difficult to get accurate calorie count for Indian food :smile: I try to be as accurate as possible in my measuring but am not quite sure how to do the calorie count for a primarily south indian diet.

It isnt clinically obese but is still overweight. But I feel if I set my sights any lower than that, I will definitely lose motivation to even get started. I am in this for the long haul and am in no hurry. :)

I ran my w3d2 run today. I could ACTUALLY run for 3 mins straight. But it was not easy...by the end I thought I'd never hear her say the magic word 'walk' but still I did it!! Am a little worried about week 4 already but am determined to get it done!

Hi I started my weight loss journey two weeks back weighing at 157.3 lbs. The end of first week, I had lost 2.2 lbs and weighed 155 lbs.
