I'm not sure about all the side effects but i do know one thing, its not as easy as it sounds. I work in a test kitchen and try to chew/spit all the time. I started a new job in a research kitchen. I ‘invent’ new fried foods that are sold in restaurants and the freezer section. I gained 30 pounds in my first 4 months. talk about depressing!! I finally realized that I need to get my weight under control or my job would end up killing me.

So, I didn’t do all that bad on this challenge. I made sure to stay away from the TV as much as possible (weekends included). And guess what…. I barely did any night time snacking (my favorite is sitting in front of the TV and eat dry, sugary cereals…Ahhhh). The only time I found myself sitting and eating was Sunday night…

Actually I am required to eat the food I work with. I actually 'invent' new recipes and therefore need to sample everything. it's pretty rough. Glad to hear i'm not the only one who doesnt like breakfast. Give me a cup of joe and i'm good to go till 11 or so. If i eat breakfast i snack on junk all day.

So is this for all fried foods? I surely hope not…I work in a test kitchen and I have to eat fried foods quite often. If what you say is correct then no matter how hard I work, I will always be overweight because of my job.

I can’t do cheat days. I’m an ‘all or nothing’ type of gal. One cheat day usually leads to 2 cheat days and then I struggle to get back on track.

My longest fast was 72 hours. It’s not as hard as one might think (if you’re in the right frame of mind). I’m interested to see how adding a workout affects you. Good luck :)

I too struggle with his. and the worst is…once I start I can’t stop! And it never fails, one bad day leads to 2 which leads to a horrible week! I struggle with getting myself back on track. Guess I just need to realize that I’m going to make mistakes, I just need to accept them and move on
