  • Lose more weight. Your body will get to it when it wants to. Other than that toning up the muscles underneath will help give it more shape once the fat comes off.

  • I think it is bad if it stays at that level for a long period of time. Think you should shoot for less than 80% of max for cardio and less than I think 60% of max for fat burning. If someone who knows the actual numbers could look it up that would be helpful.
  • Unless it is exceptional cleaning (like once a year spring cleaning sort of thing) I wouldn't bother recording it. Unless you dont plan on eating the calories back....Then go right ahead.
  • I would find 2-3 different calculators for calories burned and see which ones are the closest to each other and/or average them out and use that number. Make sure that they ask for your height and gender at a minimum.
  • The problem is that your body can only get so many calories per pound of fat everyday. I think the safe estimate is about 22 cal/pound of fat per day. So if the difference between the amount you burn in a day and you eat is greater than your body can get from fat it is going to slow down your metabolism, increase your…
  • I keep my exact diet to myself for the most part. Not worth dealing with concerns/questions.
  • From what I understand as long as you are not doing muscle building/breakdown workouts the protein is not as big of a deal. Not sure on the exact grams you should shoot for but other than that I wouldn't worry too much.
  • Meat and protein shakes.
  • Hundred percent your call to make. Until you are sure what you want for yourself there is nothing we can do to help you.
  • Unfortunately it is going to be really hard to set a final goal weight. It is all down to lean body mass, and fat distribution. For example for me to be healthy I would need to get down to 195. However I aim to have a significant amount of muscle, so that amount is not realistic for me without entering single digit body…
  • Also HIIT cardio and weight training will build muscles, so that your baseline metabolism not only doesnt decrease, but you are increasing your metabolism over time. Also not sure if true or not, but I remember hearing that exercise boosts the amount of calories burned well after you stop. Not sure if there is a study on…
  • weight loss isnt linear.
  • I change it every full 5 pounds that I drop and regardless of where my weight goes I keep it there.

  • Soreness from a workout, I take it a little lighter but push through Pain you take a break. Pain is something firing telling you that it is not right. Sore just means that your muscles are not used to the workout and is trying to rebuild itself. It goes away eventually after workouts, usually within a week or two.
  • Depends on if it is breast tissue or fat. Some woman have a large amount of breast tissue, that is less likely to go down as you lose weight. Some woman have breast with a lot of fat, that will go down as you lose weight, however it is no guarantee where in the wieght loss process it will come off.
  • I found that the snacking was only a problem at home when food was available. If food was not near by I didnt need it as much. However the brain uses most of our energy I think so when studying you are putting your brain through its paces.
  • IT is awesome program, stay away from the scale, and be prepared to be sore for a few days at the start of each month.

  • First thing to remember is that Willpower is a muscle, and like any muscle it has to be used and worked to build strength. But most importantly you have to remember that it can get worn out to the point where it stops working. So you push yourself and push yourself and then eventually you just give in. Then when you give…
  • MY biggest suggestion would be to take baby steps that dont get too difficult. Dont worry about the weight as much, it has been there 4 years, you can afford to take a few extra months to get where you need to be. So I would start with step one just being counting your calories. Just put aside a few minutes to count the…
  • I find that my heart rate gets much higher at lower intensities when I either have not been eating enough or am on the second or third workout of the day. I noticed that yesterday, I was in full on keto flu and my heart rate skyrocketed compared to normal. Finally hit 180 when I never could before.
  • I do 2 scoops of the powder, a half thing of silken tofu, and a bunch of different frozen fruits into a blender. Also for awhile instead of the fruits I was doing a cored pineapple(they were on sale) this was by far the most delicious one I have ever had
  • Also what you eat is going to have a big difference in how you are able to keep going. For example you could eat only one meal a day, and it could be 2000 calories. The problem is that if it is high in carbs it is going to JACK your insulin up REALLY high. So after the insulin is done, it is then going to still remain in…
  • Could also be your body doesnt like taking in crap. I know my body responds very negatively to most fast foods, especially since I have not had them in over a year.
  • Yep insanity requires calories, and I am guessing right now is not the time to be forcing yourself to eat more than necessary until you are mentally there.
  • Love it, I am on round two and although I couldn't afford it (pirated it) as soon as I have the funds I will be buying a copy. I did not lose many pounds but I lost a lot of inches.
  • Maybe he is not putting his supplements on the calculator? I know I dont include mine.
  • The rock Because he is a fit as a fiddle bi-racial guy that I have looked up to since I was a kid.
  • For insanity round one I didn't lose more than 4-5 pounds the entire time but I gained a good amount of muscle. Why did you quit after a plateau? Those are going to happen. I would try the TDEE -20% and accept that a plateau sometimes for months can occur. Just stick with it and eventually the numbers make it work. Also…
  • Hey, man life is like, a sin wave ya dig. Ya gonna have ya ups and ya downs. But the equation aint over till ya set the range What my urban equivalent is trying to say is that you are only a failure when you give up. Until then you have just had a few set backs.
  • after awhile holding the core in becomes unconscious. But yea the back pain is from not holding your core tight and your back taking the full brunt of a lot of the workout. Basically flex your abs and keep them flexed. Also very good for posture.
