I had to make myself a priority, I dedicate an hour out of the day for myself, there are 23 more hours for me to dedicate to everyone else around me. My husband is extremely supportive and has never once made me feel bad or guilty about taking time for myself. I also have to point out that sometimes my "exercise" consists…

My average walking pace is about 4 miles an hour, for a lot of people that is considered brisk walking but I don't feel like it's all that brisk for me personally. I just naturally walk fast and when I'm with other people I have to seriously think about slowing myself down or I end up way far ahead of everyone else.

I was around 160-170 in high school. I'm 131 now at 28 years old.

It took me a year and 10 months to lose the weight, though I was pregnant for 9 of those months.

It doesn't sound weird at all, I love my arms too! My arms were one of my biggest concern, as you can see in my before pictures they were huge. I'm so thankful that they slimmed down so much and I do have a bit of loose skin there now but nothing like the amount I feared.

When I log into my settings on fitbit.com I don't get anything at all that lets me enter my stride length. I'm using the Fitbit Flex.

I eat steel cut oatmeal 6 out of 7 days a week for breakfast and have been doing so for close to 6 months, starting out with high carbs doesn't have any negative effects on me. Eat your oatmeal and enjoy!

2 weeks but it was mostly water weight and I started at 252 lbs.

The first 6 months was a combination of Weight Watchers and MFP, I logged on both websites. It wasn't until July of last year when I realized it was stupid to keep paying for WW when counting calories just made the most sense.

He's definitely not complaining ;) He's my biggest support, he cooks dinner every night and weighs my food for me, he never complains when I spend 2+ hours at the gym, he actually used to be a personal trainer so I had him write up a strength training program for me. He's seriously been awesome through all of this! We've…

I started walking a mile a day two weeks after my c-section, I didn't start up intense exercise (running, zumba, kickboxing) until after being cleared at my 6 week appointment even though I felt great for weeks leading up to it.

You guys are all so awesome, thank you so much for your kind words!

I'm 17.4 lbs away from my ultimate goal weight and I am hoping to reach it by January 1. I am breastfeeding my baby though and refuse to risk my milk supply so I have to take things slow and steady.

I've got another 18 lbs until my ultimate goal weight. I'm 5'7" and currently weigh 153, my goal weight is 135. I'm currently breastfeeding my 8 week old son so I've got my goals set at maintenance which is 1976 and then I'm supposed to get another 500 for breastfeeding but I don't include that. I'm not losing much of…

Your calorie goal is set up based on the information you provided to MFP when setting up your profile. Your calorie goal is what you are supposed to eat before exercise is factored in, when doing the MFP method you are supposed to eat back your exercise calories. Your calorie goal is based on your height, weight, age,…

I'm not overweight either anymore and I'm still trying to lose another 19 lbs so that I'm in the middle of my healthy weight range. I'm only aiming for .5-1lb a week though.
