Just because you have a lot of weight to lose, doesn't mean you have to pick some of the toughest workouts to start with. Find a run/walk program, don't just start running for hours on end or you will be in the same place you are now. Swimming is a great exercise as well! Why don't you find an exercise program you can actually complete. It can't be fun for you (or like it) if you have to take serious breaks. Today I finished day 30! I'm down 4.5 pounds and lost an inch from all measurements except my thighs...those were 1/4". Total inch loss was 4.25" and down 1.21% BF. Tomorrow starts day 31!

Sometimes I struggle with that too. I will normally go for 2 tablespoons of peant butter....Yep, straight from the jar. Or 2 glasses of wine...depending on my protein intake for the day. :)

Well said. I'm short and started with a 1200 cal deficit. I've since increased my calories a bit, but at 1200 and at 1520 I make sure I hit all my goals, ie: calicum, fiber, vit. a,c, potassium, protein, and stay under my carb goal. It is totally doable and you can have the most healthy diet without starving if you eat…

I don't eat organic, but most of my groceries come from the outer area of the store (produce, meat, dairy, etc). You need more than that. Put meat back in your diet. All the veggies and fruit are carbs..their good carbs, but you need more calories and protein. What about any calicum? You need that as well. I have a 32oz waterbottle that I use every single day. I fill it twice a day, then I know I've hit my quota. I used to have to add flavoring to my water (I would carry mio in my purse). Now I don't need it, I haven't used mio in months. Once you start drinking a good amount of water a day, your body will crave it. :)

Your strawberries and mango have carbs. Your shots and mix drink have carbs. Your body is not used to eating 500 calories, your body is PLEADING for more.

Today will be day 26 for me and I combine it with her fast fix kick box. I haven't lost many pounds...maybe 3? But I have lost inches everywhere. As soon as I'm done with my 30 days, I'm starting again. :smile:

I totally agree wit Road Runner sports!! I got a pair from there, I got shin splints on one of my runs (maybe 70 days after using them daily), I got a new pair no questions asked. It's like leasing new shoes. :)

I was thinking Planter Faciitis as well. A nice home treatment: freeze a 20oz bottle of water and roll your foot over it several times a day. It will stretch your arch and reduce the inflamation. Good luck to you!!

Thank you again! Maybe I should bump it up to 18%? I only picked 17% because I see all the fat I still have, and I know 17 is in the athletic range. I would like to reach my goal, and stay there.

Thank you all! I know that my body fat right now is "healthy", but I see fat on my body that still needs to go. I would like to be more muscular which would give me a lower body fat %. I don't want to look like a body builder or anything...I just want to see most of my muscles when they are at rest.

Sounds good! I do something kind of similar....I slice an apple put it in a little oven safe dish, sprinkle with maple brown sugar oatmeal, dab the top with 1 tsp of butter, and bake for about 10 min. It is soooo good. This is normally my evening snack when I need a sweet fix. :)
