 Thank you all so much! I increased my calories a bit, and increased my protein today....Not nearly as hungry as yesterday. Phew!

Ok, according to the Scooby site, my BMR is 1353, TDEE to maintain is 2098, and to lose 25% reduction is 1573, 20% red. is 1678. Following the 1678, it says a loss of .8 per week.

Which calculators are the most accurate for me to use?

Thanks, I got that BF% from only 2 sources of measurments...no calipers were used. I would love to get lean and build a little muscle. Do you think resistance training can do that? I do use a whole lot of strength in my workouts.
-
1776 is my TDEE. I met a medium at 1400. If on days when I'm famished, I feel "safe" to eat more.
-
One more thing, I don't know if it will help...but one source tells me that my body fat% is 23.18%. That's with my weight, and measuring my waist, hips, forearm, and wrist.

Don't do any exercise you hate, you will get nowhere fast. There's classes you could take like Zumba, kickboxing, etc...Classes are very fun and upbeat. There's swimming which is good for the knees and hips. Simple exercises that get the heart rate up...hold a squat and throw punches while holding dumbbells. You could do…

I have. In one of my profile pictures you can see my progress with a pair of old shorts that are HUGE on me, with much muscle in my back and arms. My weight loss is slow, but I am losing. I think as long as your doing strength exercises regularly, you will be in top form. :)

Great looking muscles, you are very dedicated!!!

I'm the same way with my weight. Doing the shred, you build more overall muscle than you do with running. Have you taken measurements? I'm about the same weight since starting, but down several inches.
-
I did all 3 shreds yesterday back to back! I've done 16 shreds in total and feel so much stronger already!

I am so honored and grateful to have inspired some of you!! Thank you again for your kind words!
-
Thank you all so much for your kind words!!

I'm so glad I could inspire you!! I hope that things get better for you. For me, it was kind of like taking off a band aid...I just ripped it off...that means I actually got rid of some stressful people in my life (well, not really got RID of..but you know what I mean. ) I all of a sudden knew what I had to do to…

Thank you sweets!

I TOTALLY read this wrong....I thought the challenge was not eating for a week. LOL! I'm in, but it's not that much of a challenge for me.
-
Gosh, Thank you!! No I don't eat them back. I sometimes do eat some back on those occasions when out with friends or what not. Normally I just try to stick to my 1400.
-
Thank you all so much! I truly appreciate it!!!

When I first started, I was at 1200 calories. Now I average about 1400-1500. I workout 6 days a week. My first goal was to burn 500 a week, now I aim to burn at least 1,000 a week. I mostly do resistance and circuit training.

Thank you all so much!

Thank you! :)

I don't think I've ever seen diet whey protein...Mine is 120 calories for 2 scoops. If I need to cut on the calories a bit, I use 1 scoop.
-
I can't see your pics! :( I'm at 2 weeks myself.
-
I get carded all the time, people normally guess I'm in my 20s. I'm 37. Maybe it's all the water I drink? Who knows, but I'll take looking younger any day! :)
-
LOL

I have mixed mine with cold coffee before....I had to force it down. Maybe if I added stevia to it, it may have been better? Either way, I don't think I'll do it again. :)

Just the other day, a co-worker had noticed I'd lost a lot of weight....she says to me...."Do you have cancer? You're really shrinking!" Wow lady...Out of all things possible to say...That's what she comes up with ?!?!? :noway:

She loves herself and her hard work.
