Hi I did this prgramme a couple of years ago and can totally relate to this. I had some 'bad' runs but pushed through and then some days when I found i was dissapointed that today was not a 'run' day. I really would recommend sticking to the programme though, for me this exercise was very new to my knees hips and ankles…

Thanks I have just been one of those annoyong people and posted about weight gain not loss! I really try to weight myself less often, but just can't resist the scales. gone up 0.8kg in 4 days! doing 30 DS (day 10 today) and week 4 of onehundred pushups.
-
Diary now open - gross cals are 1200 + the exercise for that day, so 1400 tops.(exercise cals 200, not much I know but doing 30 day shred at the moment.) Pre 30 DS gym or running sessions were 400-600cals a couple of times a week.

Have you done any high intensity classess/videos? maybe give them ago Also take full advantage of your calourie burn from spinning and do some weights after, just alternate what weights you do so you are not doing the same on consecutive days. And eat your exercise calories back!! good luck:smile:

Well done for getting started again! but has MFP recomended 1200cals, sound a bit low for your height/BMI - I on on 1200 and am only 5ft2. good luck

I am 5ft 2 and started on here 2 months ago.start weight 134, current weight 124 and my stomach still sticks out further than by boobs!(too much info i know!) so still a bit to go. I have achieved this by having 1200 cals a day and eating exercise calories on top of these most of the time. I was not really doing any…

I try not to have the same thing every day, have got quite into the little porridge sachets lately, there are sooo many flavours. Also museli or poached egg on a warbertond thin. Sometimes a bananna and some yoghurt. A year ago I had never tasted museli or porridge believing I would hate them. Can't remember why I tried…

Everyone had different ideas about what weight/soze med and women should be, we all know BMI is not perfect but 5ft10 and 150lbs is a BMI of 23. well within 'health' range.

I only clicked on the thread cause i thought some of the responses would be a giggle, they usualy are!

I am logging it aa circuit training which I get 152 cals for 20 mins. Think it may be more though as I get 184 for 20 mins on treadmil and 30 day shred is tougher than that!!

Yesterday I made hot cross bun bread and butter pudding with maya gold and ginger chocolate. It was delicious. Don't feel too guilty, just work it into your calorie allowance. Oh and try ice lollies, some are really low calorie - they have been my diet saviour several times!

Amazing story and beautifully written. Good luck with it all. One day at a time!! you can do this!!!!

Running, my whole body has never been leaner than when i was running - outside, not on a treadmill if you can, your body moves differently!

I started about 2 months ago - noticed little changes and small drops in weight, then had a bad week or 2 and put it back on. Been stcking with it properly for 4 weeks now and consistently loosing weight, and now a noticable change in size/clothes fitting better. Lost 3kg in 2 months so pretty pleased. good luck

Wow, you have been having it rough! Too much for any one person to deal with by themselves. I would recomed talking to someone, maybe your G.P or health visitor. Depression is not a sign of weakess, but that you have been carrying too much on your own for too long! I have experienced bouts of depression, each time is a bit…

I am about the same size as you and quite a fan of tankini bottoms

The two piece looks great, but a halter-neck always makes nearly everyones boobs and arms look better- if you get chance try one on! I would recomend taking both one piece and two piece away with you though!!!

Cheese, toast and chocolate are the strongest temptations, stopped smoking 4 years ago and my metabilism hasn't been the same since. Don't keep bread or chocolate in the house as a rule - have warburtons sandwich thins instead and only have them as part of a meal, they make excellent mini pizzas! My diet saviours are ice…

I make myself wait and do it weekly on Fridays, this keeps me motivated. Start wanting to weigh myself by Tuesday and not doing it helps me eat right until Friday so I can see a loss. Only 1lb or a little less each week, but in the right direction

Also loads of water in icelollys, jelly and ice cream if you worried she is not drinking enough, maybe the family might enjoy something together in front of the telly to take the pressure/focus off her and eating

I am having some slow success - lost 3.5kg in 2 months on 1200, not doing much exercise, but generally I do eat back my exercise cals. Also would just like to comment that I am always amazed at how many people say theye struggle to eat their exercise calories back, if thats the case, however did we get fat!!!! -I apreciate…

Try against a a wall or some planks for a while first, this will strengthen your core, then you will more likely be in the right position when you try girly or full push ups. Its quite commen that people cant do them because they dont get their positions and balance right to start with. Also when you do then concentrate on…
