@crabada - cheers for that :) will have a go at changing my stand and see how that feels. Have been practice squatting without the bar in different positions, so I will try that next time and see how it feels. Will also concentrate on pushing through the heels and less on the hips xx

Start with the bar - then you can make sure that your form is correct. I found that the hardest, making sure I was using the correct form. xx

Hey :) Read NROLFW or Stronglifts 5x5. I started with NROLFW and found the book really helpful, in the end I only did stage one and started 5x5 a few weeks ago. I find 5x5 nice and easy. I agree, thats what I liked about it. Stage 1 of NROLFW gave me time to focus on form, but looking forward it gets to complicated. I have completed my third session this morning and as there are only three exercises, I have plenty of time to make sure that my form is correct. How are you finding it? xx

I really enjoyed stage one - but it just looked to complicated after that. I have just completed my third session of 5 x 5 and enjoy the simplicity, like I got with stage 1. The book was invaluable and I think the programme is great for that. xx

Everyones doing really well :) I find it hard not to compare myself to others and think why am I not lifting as much as they are. Glad I'm not the only one. I think I will be doing the extended version of stage A as it's the first time that I am doing weights. I have been told that I need to eat more protein as that helps, bit strange as I'm a carb girl. Do you find extra reps are helping? N xx

Rest day today and B2 tomorrow. Got some work trips coming up and we are stopping in a hotel without a gym so trying to make sure that I can get two workouts a week in during those weeks. Silly work! Thanks Rocky. Wanted to go to the gym this morning but wind closed the gym so now to keep on track I will be doing STTS - with plenty of dog walking in between. Thanks for all the advice. I really appreciate it. Will have a look at the foam roller as we have one at the gym xxx
