I agree! Coconut water is the worst! I think I tried it when I was hungover and thought it would help me "detox". I'd rather be hungover.

The worst food calorie-wise were the fajita nachos I had one night after a 60-hour work week. They were delicious, but my stomach was unhappy for a couple of days afterwards. The worst tasting food I've had since starting this program would be a grain dish by Trader Joe's that tasted like feet smell.

Personal trainers are aware of the proper way to eat, but it's not their specialty. I would suggest a combination of nutritionist and trainer. It sounds like you didn't like the nutritionist you saw - find another! Look for one that specializes in fat loss. Best of luck!

I'm of the mindset that there is no magic pill. Additionally, the supplements are not regulated by the FDA, so what's printed on the box may not be exactly what's in the pill. Thanks for the encouragement, Boroko. Kimbers, yes I'm spending at least 50% of my time at the gym lifting. It's exciting to see the results. The trainer emphasizes using hand held weights/body weight rather than machines. Why I spent so much time with machines in the past, I'll never know. Much quicker results this way.…

I burned 420 calories at the gym this morning. And the best part is it's over-and-done with. I can start my day now, rather than spend energy making excuses why I couldn't possibly go to the gym. :smile:

Thanks for the support, everyone. I'm taking everyone's advice and have begun to record my measurements. I also downloaded the spreadsheet that was suggested and will begin to use that. I'll report back in a couple months.
