. Plateau for a LONG time. gained weight back, mostly intentionally hoping that would help. not sure where to go now? MD doesn't really do 'diet'. the nutritionist was mostly concerned about sugar and diabetes.... my question is, if I get a personal trainer, do they do diet planning as well as exercise regimens?

Personal trainers are aware of the proper way to eat, but it's not their specialty. I would suggest a combination of nutritionist and trainer. It sounds like you didn't like the nutritionist you saw - find another! Look for one that specializes in fat loss.

Yes personal trainers can do diet plans as well as exercise plans. A lot of them are all rounders now and are trained on nutrition as well as fitness!0
