I am a kiwi livng in Aus, from BOP, Mt Maunganui to be more specific :) Sorry I can't help with the food, all the food I miss from NZ is bad for you :p well except the meat, it really does taste different here.

My 2 fed alll day long no matter how much food they ate too LOL

I reakon just go by your hunger, so if you need more food then have it. Are you finding yourself really hungry? I never really got ravenous from breastfeeding, but some friends did. Also do you have a lot of weight to lose? I calories needs also depends on your goals :)

wooo

How old is your baby? 1200 really isn't a lot, and id be surprised if your milk supply wasn't affected by eating that low, since you need that as a minimum for yourself alone.
-
Yep you are right about the uterus thing, but that doesn't take too long.
-
What do you mean about it using your stomach muscles? Ive never heard this. Also its not 500 cal per feeding. Generally as a breastfeeding mother you need 300-500 extra calories per day.
-
When you are breastfeeding a newborn around the clock you would need more calories than now yes, but if you are finding yourself hungry then def eat a bit extra of the good stuff :)
-
Are you asking so if you know whether to eat the extra calories or not? I just finished breastfeeding after 4 years straight, (2 children) but at that age i just didin't really count it even though they fed all day, just in the earlier days where i felt like I could use the extra food. Good on you for still breastfeeding :)

No experience with this, but ive been hanging out to hear about your consult, and looking forward to seeing the results of your surgery. I am so excited for you :)

Not a cop out, once your skin is stretched beyond repair, its not going to shrink back, and if you hate it and can afford it, then do it :) Don't know the rules where you are but if you have separated muscles from having your children your public hospital system may do it for free, but you would have to look into it :)

how old is your baby? New born? If a newborn, id just eat when hungry and make healthy choices as much as possible, without counting calories. When your baby is young and your supply is still adjusting it can be affected by weight loss. Ive just finished breastfeeding after 4 years straight (2 children no gap). I did do…

why accept it, its not healthy. But in saying that you have to want to do it for you, not for someone else.
-
How many calories are you eating a day/ Are you eating enough protein?
-
Im a kiwi living in Sydney (from the Bay of Plenty)
-
yes mostly definitely :)
-
No, but I wouldn't feed it to my babies either, and never did.
-
nothing processed pretty much, so only lean meats, fruit and vege etc. Things like brown rice are generally OK
-
That is a great amount of weight to lose. Are you eating real food for all meals now? Def agree with your PT on the cardio, strength training you need more than cardio :)

Hows everyone going? Day 3 of the whole 30 for me, and I feel a bit yucky, but I felt much worse yesterday. I am finding with the fats, I am not needing to eat as often, although today the latte cravings have been hard. I did try a coffee with coconut cream, but the taste was hard to keep drinking. I do worry about putting…

also none of the machines would pick up the strap.

I couldn't get it to work only as a hrm. Maybe it would if you ran on a treadmill, but for a class or something, it doesn't work like that. Unless I missed something.

thanks everyone for your advice. Ill keep at it. I relied quite heavily on brown rice and low fat milk (with my coffees) so it has been a challenge not eating them. I have wanting a coffee so bad too today. I do feel a bit better after a short nap.

?Hi all, are any of you not tracking food during this challenge as per the whole 30 site? it makes me nervous at the thought of not, but also not sure on what ratios to put in for each thing and cals so I can track on MFP if I want to. I did find a site, and it has me at quite high cals, but maybe ill just focus on eating…

thank you for the advice, just started paleo today, and ill look into those other things you mentioned too :) thanks a lot.

Good on you for doing this for you :) I have no experience with saline vs silicone, but sounds like these gummy bear ones will be the way to go :) Looking forward to reading of your progress and pics of course :D I am having a tummy tuck/lift once ive finished losing weight, ive lost over 30 kg since my second son was…

Hi all, can I join here? I have just started today, its going to be a challenge to get used to it, as ive been eating a lot of brown rice particularly lately, so its going to be a change. So am looking forward to learning all I can. Ive been doing more weights and less cardio the last couple of weeks already.
