You can see the difference. Keep it up!

5'4"/ 145 pounds/ Size 10 pants. :-) I was amazed when someone wrote that they wear a size 8. Also, as far as my memory goes, I've never been below 137 pounds... and I remember thinking to myself that I was TOO skinny. My goal is set at 125 right now... but we will see.

It's WONDERFUL for your hair (as in not eating it but actually rubbing it on your hair). :-)

I'm not sure how long it's been since you upped your calories so I might be off base. I used to eat 1200 calories/ day... then I realized that I couldn't live like that for the rest of my life. After I upped my calories I saw an increase on the scale for the first two weeks... so I stopped looking at the scale and decided…

I am in for 50 miles running.

I'M IN! :-) Are we checking back in everyday on this thread?

Looks 8.5 :-)

I love soup noodles (but they are terribly bad for you). Trying to eat them less.

Haha, as you can see from my weight loss ticker (maybe) I was looking to be 125 pounds (I'm 5'4"). I've reached 145, and just about 15 minutes ago I saw myself on video... and I looked PRETTY DARN SKINNY (at least to myself). I'm not starting to think that 125 might make me look sick. :-(

Haha! I'm going to take this as an NSV. Good for you girl. :flowerforyou:

You look fantastic!

Great job! LOVE seeing movement on the scale.

You're doing great! We started at almost the same time (I'm 105 days now). You're right about it being much easier after you get started. It's only up from here. :-)

ADD ME!

That's amazing GREAT WORK!

I was actually thinking about changing my route/ running my route backwards as well. Because I know all the mile markers now whenever I get to a new mark I always think: "I've been running FOREVER and I'm only a mile in". Thanks for the suggestion.

Wow, had no idea that someone had revived my thread (how nice). It's great to see that people besides me are having problems with gaining weight from Chinese food (I find that men usually lose weight while they are here). First off, with all the rice and noodles here in China it is kind of difficult to avoid carbs, but for…

:-) I have them to. At my heaviest I was about 190 pounds (I never did like getting on the scale... so that's the heaviest I remember). Though I haven't been that heavy for a long time I still have MANY stretch marks on my arms. They used to really bother me, but one day (not sure why), I decided that I really didn't care…

I LOVE this.

Used to happen to me all the time in Chicago during the summer. Personally, I just find it kind of scary.

This is what I was thinking. I know a LOT of my friend were married and had children by 23.

If MFP gave you that number, I would say that you should change your settings. I feel like your weight loss is just going to be miserable if you're hungry all the time (at least it was for me until I decided to up my calories). I eat around 1700 calories a day total. I'm never hungry and I've been able to continue losing…

I love it here! I think that you will find that you learn a lot. Add me if you like (I love new friends).

Could be a spoon or an hourglass. Hoping I'm an hourglass ;)

I would agree with at least getting a net of 1200 calories. For the first month or so I ate 1200 calories total. I was losing weight, BUT found that I was angry all the time (which was probably from the hunger). I finally decided (after reading posts) to up my calories a bit/ eat back exercise calories. Since then I've…

I bought a crappy 30 dollar blender and it's working just fine for me. :-) The Magic bullet is pretty though.

I just reached my second goal today (145), which would make my next goal 135. YAY!
-
You can really tell the difference!

AAAHHH! Such a great job!
