  • Everyone needs support. :) I am struggling with my last ten and it is taking forever. :( Feel free to add me.
  • How inspiring! This is a wonderful site and it works if you utilize it. Feel free to add me as a friend. Good luck on your journey.
  • That's a great idea! I did find out that for 16 oz. there are 10 calories and 70 mg of sodium. That's a lot of extra sodium if I am drinking several glasses a day. It might be why I'm in another plateau. Thanks!
  • I'm 5'7 and started at 157.5. I am now 139.4 and would love to get down to 130.
  • Thanks for all of the info. I will begin with changing my exercise and see if that helps.
  • Wow! I'm impressed. Welcome to MFP and good luck on your journey.
  • Welcome to MFP! I have the same problem! I just roll my calories over to the next day if I can't eat them back. I always go by my weekly goal anyway.
  • You look awesome! I am also 5'7 but a lot older! I have only five more pounds to lose but it is taking forever! :frown:
  • If I don't feel like eating, I save mine for the next day. I always go by my weekly goal.
  • It takes a few days to get the hang of it. Just remember to try to plan ahead of what you are going to eat. Prepare stuff the night before. It makes it so much easier.
  • It's a great site! The first two weeks will be hard but stick it out because it does get easier. Good luck on your journey. Jen
  • Get outside and get active! I love to eat more on the weekends but I try to even it out with exercise. My 6:30 bootcamp class is worth it every Saturday morning because I know I will be able to enjoy a luch or dinner out with friends.
  • You found a great app! I love it! It is hard at the beginning but it does get easier. Make sure you log everything. Even if you just "taste" it. It keeps you accountable. If you really want something, just taste it or have a small portion. It will keep you from binging. If you would like to add me as a friend, I…
  • Welcome! I have Crohn's too. So far, it's just a mild case. You will love this site. Good luck on your journey. :)
  • Hi! The first few weeks are the hardest but it does get easier. Don't deny yourself something if you are craving it. Just have a small "taste" or you may end up binging. If you have a bad day, tomorrow's a new day. Good luck on your journey! If you need a friend, just add me. :)

  • Welcome! The first couple of weeks are hard but don't give up. Make small changes at first. Don't ever deny yourself, just have a "taste" so you won't binge. If you have a bad day, tomorrow's a new day. Good Luck on your journey. :)
  • Welcome and this is a wonderful site! Feel free to add me and I will cheer you on. :) Good luck with your journey.
  • I've done it and it works! I gave myself a day off and then stuck with my 1200 for a couple of days and lost 1.5 pounds.
  • No one is perfect on here! Don't sweat it and enjoy the time with your family and not stressed out about what you are eating. A few days off won't hurt you. Feel free to add me as a friend if you need a cheerleader in your corner. :) Good luck on your journey. :)
  • Oooohhh, didn't know they made minis. That's an idea! :)
  • I'm glad that I'm not the only one! I am going to have my Cadbury creme egg but I am going to wait until Easter day. If I get my "fix", I may not try to rob my kid's baskets the rest of the day. hahaha
  • I had to go to an outdoor/sports store to have someone watch me walk/run. I have been wearing the shoes that she recommended and haven't had shin splints since then. Thanks for the info on the exercises :)
  • Hahaha, mine says the same thing and I am only averaging a half pound to a pound a week. I'm glad someone else feels the same way. It's frustrating!
  • We have been on Spring Break this week and I have gone over my calorie goal for three days in a row! I feel horrible and I am so dissapointed in myself! I am so weak when it comes to temptations. Give yourself a break, tomorrow is a new day and you're not the only one who falls off the wagon. :) Good luck on your journey!…
  • Wow! What a transformation. You are doing an awesome job and look great!
  • I was only eating "some" of my excercise calories back and hit a plateau in my second month that lasted for three weeks. I started eating "most" of my calories back and started losing weight again. Get a HRM and your calories that you burn will be accurate. :)
  • The first two weeks were the hardest for me. I just tried to drink lots of water and eat foods that would help me feel full. It's also easier to eat small meals or snacks throughout the day. After about the third week, my body adjusted and now I have to make myself eat all of my calories. I know it sounds crazy but it will…
  • I was stuck on 12 pounds for three weeks until I zig zagged my calories for a few days. I would eat my normal 1200 one day and then maybe 1800 the next day and then I would eat about 1000 the next...... I lost 1.5 pounds at the end of that week. That was last week and I haven't weighed in for this week yet. I have stuck to…
  • I agree, every now and then it's okay. Just don't get into a habit of not eating most of your calories back. I went through a three week plateau because I just wasn't hungry to eat my excercies calories back. Once I started eating them back, I started losing weight again.
  • It works! I started in January and have lost 14 pounds. Good luck on your weight loss journey!
