Agree that you won't lose that much in 6 weeks (otherwise we'd ALL be 40 pounds lighter!) but you can def decrease your weight with some diet and exercise. Don't forget to incorporate a lot of arm workouts to bust out some sexy shoulders and triceps for that dress!! Congrats on your upcoming nuptials!

You lost 25 pounds with the nutritionist, so THAT was what worked. Stay within your macros/calories and you can even have a treat (just count it in), drink more water, and get active. It's a process but if you really want it, you'll do it. Good luck!!

Working, single mom here! I'd love to join. Currently going through Insanity (Day 4) right now. Just trying to find time around my daughter's schedule.

Agree with this. Diets or eating healthy even has never failed me before, I failed at them. You have to want it, and more importantly you have to be HONEST with yourself. You'll hit a plateau or gain one week and get upset, but did you REALLY try? Or did you eat like *kitten* for a couple of days during that week? Whenever…

Agree! She didn't buy it FOR you. You stated you didn't want to eat it, so don't.

Same here!

I'm 5'2 with a goal of 115. But, I'll stop wherever I end up with a lean body and lots of muscle tone!

So, like the others said, you have to want this more. My dad is an alcoholic. And when he became sober, he always kept beer in the house as a "test". He said that if he couldn't remain sober with it in the house, he knew he wasn't really sober. I'm trying to keep this in mind in my own life. If you can't make the "right"…

Thanks! I guess it is just a rounding error. I've never added it up before and was getting frustrated last night trying to figure it out!

I wouldn't call myself an athlete necessarily; I'm a runner and am trying out longer distances (10+ miles) lately. My question was mostly about the actual calculations with MFP though more than anything. The numbers don't add up. I had "leftover" protein and carb grams but not enough calories to cover the deficit. I just…

Ah, yes, sorry. I had it all spaced out appropriately and then when it posted it was condensed again. I had them calculated for me by a trainer. Not sure of the formula she uses. I just got this info yesterday, so trying to figure out ways to meet these goals.

Have you ever been on the opposite side of this? Before your loss, you might have gone out with a friend or family member who got the grilled chicken and veggies while you ordered the burger and fries. The reason you say anything is because you are irritated that YOU aren't eating like THEM. Not to sound childish, but it…

I get discouraged too sometimes. It's totally natural. And then I think, "Did you REALLY try this week??" And the answer is generally no. Nope, I hit snooze instead of waking up to do 30 Day Shred. No, I ate cookies all day long, drank too much soda, or (like last night) ate mindlessly in front of the tv. You have to be…

I had my gb removed in May 2012 after discovering several polyps growing inside of it. They kept checking for stones and couldn't see anything. Finally, one of these polyps grew large enough for it to be detected and the surgeon threw the word "tumor" out there and I had him cut it out! Before this discovery though, I…
