I'll be one to add to the "I haven't given it up" comments. I don't drink that often in any case, my problems come from soda/beer.. one can leads to another, then me wanting fries and a burger.. I just stay away from it unless it's an occasion.

Yeah.. I did that also. I started changing my eating habits; I switched to low carb low sodium and started drinking water like a mad woman and it seems to be doing the trick. Try to implement strength training and HIIT to help move results along.

I was offered a fried breakfast of plantains, salami and cheese. To this I said "no thank you." I had 2 eggs, a yogurt, banana, toast with peanut butter instead.

Just go with it. At least he's feeding him a fruit. I think hubby needs to learn about healthier choices. Have you guys had "the talk?"

Strength training. I believe for it to be considered a circuit it would have to contain cardio.

I have the same issue. Try not using resistance for a while and just crank up the intensity on the bike.

I did change my workout to doing higher intensity routines(spinning class and strength training class and other cardio classes..), I decreased my carb intake ( or I am trying to) to see if that can lead to a change. My sodium intake I'm still watching and sugar unless it comes from fruits..

I vote for donating it. Expect for people wanting you to fail. Don't expect others to give up not having certain foods around just because you aren't eating them. Temptation will be everywhere you'll need to learn how to make due.

I think I better understand what it means to be healthy and how to go about having a better lifestyle. Of course I weight less and look better because I am making better decisions about things than I did when I was younger.

I have given up drinking carbonated beverages because they make me gassy, and make me crave other not so good items.. regardless if it's zero calories or not I drink water.

I haven't had a muffin in maybe.. a year.. I remember they tasted good lol, But now I have learned how to eat better things. It's not the calories I pay attention to really, it's whether it fits into my calorie budget for the day.. I would instead buy the bananas, buy the nuts and eat them separately OR buy ingredients,…

I've heard of this.. if it happens good, if not oh well, you'll be ok. You can just start a routine and find out. I'm working on slimming my legs, but given my muscle mass and whatnot I don't think I'll be apart of that group.

I'm not sure how people can workout in those jacket things; I've even seen people wear the full on suit. The only thing it's good for is for sweating, even then it's still taking the easy way out. Stick to hard work and a better diet.

I lost 2 pounds. I worked out this week and I am not painfully sore.... I love the feeling of feeling stronger!

I was at home putting on a pair of jeans only to realize they didn't fit, I put on 3 more and THEY didn't fit. THAT was when I decided I was going to change. And now I need new jeans to fit my pretty little bum. :)

Been there. Just think about WHY you started your journey and what would happen if you didn't get back on track. You have to nip it in the bud before it get's out of hand. Good luck.

I'm a pear shape. I wouldn't have it any other way. I decided to dedicate myself into making my body shape BETTER. A better diet, a good cardio, weight training routine should do the trick. I decided i would start a routine to find that out myself. You have to focus on diet more so than working out as you have to cut the fat that's around your core. Just get to it and win that bet!
