i've lost 40lbs.. about 10 more to go, or maybe just 5 (depending on what my body looks like). the last few are the hardest, don't get discouraged!

greek yogurt, tbsp of peanut butter, sliced almonds.. some sweetener or honey. AMAZING! lots of protein.

i wouldn't intentionally TRY to lose.. just continue to make healthy eating choices. don't use this as an excuse to eat whatever you want (like MANY people do..). I have a friend that was in your shoes, and she continued to eat healthy throughout her pregnancy.. she ended up 40lbs lighter than when she found out she was…

if you have an iphone, download the Nike Training App.. they have targeted workouts, i love the one for legs. I have a back injury, so i modify the jumping parts. I substitute in lunges and squats which have really toned my legs. squats and lunges are also awesome for getting your heart-rate up.

all looks yummy. bump!

i've heard good things about it. a woman at my gym, who is a nutritionist, reccommended it to me.. i'd like to hear from others who have tried it.. so, BUMP!

simple, healthy breakfast: greek yogurt.. mix in anything you like. fruits, nuts, cereal. i've been mixing in peanut butter, almonds, and some sweetener.. it's even great for dessert! lunch: grilled fish, grilled chicken.. with lots of sauteed veggies. i sautee mine in a pan with cooking spray, hot sauce and spices. i also…

i find that running is very slimming.. you use your entire body to run. the elliptical at different resistances has slimmed out my thighs. also, doing Nike Training Camp workouts have really helped me slim out my arms, legs, and tighten my tummy.

baby spinach grapes, halved an apple, chopped shredded carrots sliced almonds edamame red pepper flakes usually top it with either fish or chicken. sometimes i add some fresh berries, too. i like to make my own dressing.. usually with spicy mustard, a little honey, red wine vinegar and some olive oil. salt/peper to taste.

congrats on the 5lbs! if you're eating healthily, and you aren't feelin exhausted (from lack of food) then you're probably just really lucky to be shedding that fast. :) it may slow down after a while, when your body feels like it's "lost enough" weight.. which just means your body will plateau.

i love 100-calorie almond packs, so convenient.. i snack on string cheese and carrots a lot, sometimes a granola or protein bar.
-
. exactly!

green tea, sweetened with honey or splenda, some lemon.. delicious!

i like john frieda products.. also, i only use shampoo about once a week. the rest of the days, i "wash" with just conditioner. it keeps my hair moisturized and minimizes frizz. i use a lot of leave-in conditioners, i try to avoid gel and mousse because they usually have alcohol in them (dries hair out).

i LOVE and swear by Nike Training Camp application for iPhone (and on youtube).. they have awesome, easy-to-follow workouts. and it's a FREE app! can't get better than that.

omg, this post is making my mouth water. Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday.. mainly because of the menu at my family's shindig. luckily, we have a LOT of veggies. they also have ham & turkey, but i've never been too much of a fan of those things. oh, and i MUST save room for awesome dessert. the past few years,…

www.skinnytaste.com is awesome.

sometimes i sautee some fresh veggies the night before, paired with either fish or chicken. i like bringing greek yogurt, berries & almonds for lunch, too. sometimes canned soup, sometimes fresh soup from across the street from my job (vietnamese food).

my weight hasn't moved in weeks. i'm cutting out things like cereal, bread, rice, pasta to see if that helps a little. generally, i don't eat much of that stuff anyway, but it's enough to "cut out" to make a difference. i've done it before and it's helped a lot, and actually made me FEEL lighter and healthier.

if you're netting way under 1200cals a day, you would EVENTUALLY slow down your metabolism to a point where it would be difficult to burn fat at a high rate. you may see quick weightloss now, and not so much later on. when you're looking to lose a lot of weight, your body WILL hit plateaus. that is normal! if you're…

sloths walk across the country faster than this. with their eyes closed.

weighing yourself after eating is weighing the food you just consumed.. of course the scale is going to go up. a cheat day is fine, just don't make a habit out of it. back on track tomorrow :)

just work the snacks into your calorie goal for the day. have few calories at meals, or make it a point to burn off a certain amount of calories that you can "eat back". snacking helps you not over-eat at your larger meals.. the more "starving" you feel, the more you're going to gobble down at lunch and dinner. snacking…
