A deadlift is hip-dominant. A squat is knee-dominant.

If you're sucking in your belly all day, then you're working muscles. This will strengthen the muscles and burn a tiny bit of calories, It''s also good for posture. Try pulling in your hips and lifting your head up at the same time. But other than the (very minor) calorie burn,it will not help you lose belly fat.

Adding to this: you can also do pyramids. Start with 1 rep the first round, then do 2 reps, 3, 4, etc. up to failure. Once you've reached failure, then start going back down (if you got 12 reps, the next round is 11, then 10...). You can also make the steps multiples of some number instead (2,4,6 ... 6, 4, 2). I've done…

^This^ Lots and lots of squats.

Bodyweight. Start here: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2009/12/09/beginner-body-weight-workout-burn-fat-build-muscle/

Keep at it. Lots of people have started off at zero push-ups. EDIT - Also, forget sit-ups. They're inefficient. Try planks instead.

Progress looks really slow. Have you considered Starting Strength or StrongLifts 5x5?
-
I vote "waste of money". Avoid gimmicks. Reduce your calorie intake and look up the StrongLifts 5x5 program.
-
I'm curious to see what they provide you.

Sunday is my rest day,so I only do walks, biking, and yoga (usually).

Sit-ups are not the most efficient or effective way to strengthen your abs. Try different variations of crunches and planks if you're not ready for the exercises Waldo posted (most of us aren't). RandomAbs.com has a different abs workout every day; try it and see how that works.

Losing weight.

You probably should seek advice from a professional, but in my (admittedly limited) opinion: cardio is probably the worst choice. Instead focus on flexibility and light weights to built up strength in your joints.
-
The better workout would be the one that forces you to push the most, but that you can still do. As for calories, no idea.

Huh?
-
Better for what?
-
567.38 calories.
-
Figured as much.
-
So have you ever tried Crossfit?
-
Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga and Bob Harper's Yoga for the Warrior are both good power yoga routines.
-
I think you should ignore science and this article because amybg1 prefers to do cardio first.

So I tried the archer push-ups- these weren't too bad. Mostly a balance issue. Then the chest tap push-ups - [insert your favorite expletive] face-planted twice, but got them done. They are a lot harder than clapping push-ups. Finished with clapping push-ups, one-armed push-ups, and then some regular ones because that's…

Start with either the book Starting Strength or with StrongLifts 5x5 (google for the website).

 I hope you find something that works for you.

Cool. She can have great thigh muscles under the fat.

Spot reduction is a myth. Sorry.

I enjoy heavy lifting, the heavy bag, cycling, running, sprinting, bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, yoga, kayaking, ripstiks, battle ropes, hiking, walking, parkour.... I've probably left out a couple.
-
I love kayaking. Getting into it wasn't cheap, though.
-
Wow. That sounds like all the worst advice you can receive rolled into one.

I've done tabata-style bodyweight work with alternating rounds of kipping or jumping pull-ups, clapping push-ups, jump squats or deck squats, and either pulse-ups or combat sit-ups. Never been too happy with the pulse-ups or combat sit-ups, so last time was 12 rounds total alternating between pull-ups, push-ups, and squats.
