Thanks all. Surgery is not for me & I for one belive that I have to figure this thing out & put in the work (changing me & my life style) or it won't matter if I get to my goal weight b/c I'll just put it back on, but I am just very curious about the rules & the different plans. I'm just trying to figure it all out.

I recently got the Mayo Clinic Diet book & they recommend 20-35 g of fiber per day, & they also say that veggies & fruit should not be limited.

I agree... why fix something that ain't broke. If you start to plateau then cut them back, otherwise keep doing what your doing, it's working for you. :wink:

I thought I might add that I added calories b/c the scale wasn't moving, but I did it slowly so I could find results rather than jumping around... in other words I added like 25 calories at a time until I saw results, I guess my body was in starvation mode b/c it worked.
