I just wanted to thank everyone for their words of encouragement. Last night was another binge. It was probably the worst I've ever had and the morning is proving to be even worse then the night. I feel like hell on earth both physically and mentally. First I can't sleep, running on about 1.5 hours of sleep, thought I'm…

valentinesdre, I think the wellbutrin might have something to do with it. I have tried the healthy snack thing but I have found that the binges are really fueled by a particular food any food does it really. For example...if I eat a bowl of oatmeal, I want 4 more. If I eat an apple, I want the bag, if I eat a donut I want…

I logged while loosing, and still log now. Log every day.

Thanks, I don't think there is much advice to give. I just need to...let it out you know?

I'm trying to work this out with one of these TDEE calculators. With the activities that I have stated...would you guys put me at lightly or moderately active?

I'm no longer focused on loosing weight, like I said before I was planning on beginning to bulk up and actually gain weight after a few weeks of maintaining. I'm getting about 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass, more then that most days. I tend to average around 130-160 grams of protein per day, which at 135…

The binges are a mixture of both high and low quality foods. When I have an episode, I don't exactly care what I put in my face. It's an eat everything sorta thing. If I have healthy stuff, I'll eat that...if I have access to junk I'll eat that too. Which was fine, I ate a mixture of healthy stuff and junk when I was…

I think weight should be entirely a non-issue. I don't think people should be encouraged to gain or loose weight. I think if people are encouraged to eat properly and be active regularly then weight wouldn't be something that had to be worried about. Obesity isn't the problem, it's a symptom. Fix the root cause.

Thanks guys, makes me feel a bit better. Bulking is definitely in my future. I think I'm going to eat at rough maintenance for the next few weeks though. Since I just started lifting I see no need to be in a surplus until I get my form in check and can start actually working out with some kind of intensity. Till then I'll…

LMAO Took FrnkLft's suggestion and gave the hair a trim...which resulted in "F'ed it up" which resulted in....totally bald chest. Take a look and now that things can be clearly seen, let me know what you think lol http://s10.postimg.org/71lq1g689/IMG_2674.jpg Flexing, like a beast :P

So if I keep the surplus small enough and workout hard it should be possible to keep lean gain and fat gain about equal...so hovering right around the same bf%?

Thanks everyone. I do know that I need to fill out a little more, not having any muscle mass doesn't help at all (12 inch flexed bicep...so sad) and I'm pretty sick of being weak. We'll, I'm not really weak the muscle that is there is pretty strong and I can BP my body weight, which isn't bad for a total noob. But I would…

Alright well sedentary I burn about 2000 calories a day. But I'm far from sedentary, I walk at least 5 miles a day and try to get in one daily run a day of at least 3 miles. Plus lighting 3-4 times a week (just started a few weeks ago) so I'm roughly estimating that my maintenance requirements are probably around 2500. So…

isn't 15% body fat much to high to bulk up from?
-
Should I start concentrating on building some LBM or loose a couple more pounds to build up from a lower body fat %? Suggestions?

Thanks guys for all your support! I actually went for a run today, 3.5 miles. I intend to go for another 2 miler this evening. It was enjoyable...so now all I gotta do is keep it up! Almostanangel I'll be having my doctor check into that asap...thank you very much.

Good to know, but if that is true I have been GROSSLY underrating. If I get 3000 cal just from walking, its probably a fair bit higher when I run the 6 miles instead of walking. This is also something I do pretty much every day with only small measures of deviation. I think for the next week or so I'm just going to eat at…

Thank you all for your quick responses. In response to 55in13 I use the phrase "Atleast" because while I know how long my route is I occasionally depending upon how I am feeling on a weekly basis wind up taking 2 rest day instead of one. But I understand what you are saying, my intake has to fluctuate with my output.…

Paige, The TDEE calculator that I am using, while selecting 'Moderate' for activity level says that I should have 2400 calories a day to maintain, MFP says I should eat at around 2,200 a day to maintain (Which I am assuming I have to eat calories back) I generally eat in between the two hitting anywhere between 2,200 and…

Melsinct, that is basically where I am at in the opening stages of maintenance. So I have been recording everything, though I eat basically whatever I want so long as it fits within my calorie requirements. I like being full so I tend to eat a lot of high volume foods. But I also tend to eat whatever it is that I want, I'm…

Thanks for the suggestion but I know right off the bat that it won't work for me. I need to track things or I'll entirely loose control of them. I count the calories so I can see it, and it reminds me to stay in control of my intake. If I didn't I would probably take all the food and shove it immediately into my face, lol.…
