As I'm reading the thread, I'm noticing that majority of you are pointing to me getting a new job. This is not an option. I love my job, and I literally can't leave work at work, my phone could ring at anytime and I have to pretty much be available to go back into work. I don't stay because of money, my salary is under…

Clean eating is staying away from processed foods, eating food in it's natural state with no other additives. I'm not 100% but close to about 90%. If I can't pronounce what's on the label, or if the ingredient list contains something that I wouldn't keep in my own kitchen, I don't eat it.

I had my gallbladder removed about 6 years ago and it did change how I had to eat. I can't eat most tomato based foods, pizza, spaghetti, etc. and I also can't eat chocolate without getting sick either. I have a friend though that had he's gallbladder removed and he can't grapes. It affects everyone differently.

My doc won't ever stop suppressing my levels due to weight gain, and that I tend to go crazy if my levels are to high, I'm talking if it get above 2.0. I have a Fitbit. I like mine to keep track of how much I move throughout the day, each day I try for a little bit more than yesterday and it helps keep me accountable. I don't use the app for food intake, I don't like it.

I allow myself two cheats a week, not two days. So if I want ice cream on Monday and chips on Tuesday, those are my cheats for the week. If I eat a big cheat meal like my chicken and rice casserole (nothing healthy about it) I count that as two.

I had my thyroid completely removed when I was 24 due to cancer. I now take a hormone replacement pill everyday, we are still trying to adjust my medication to where I need to be. But, it is getting better. Wait until you talk to your doctor, he will know more about what will work best for you.
