I got 6w6p today (finally arrived!) and it's a little bit too fast paced. I'm sure I'll get used to it. But NMTZ is still my favourite :heart:

Sorry I have to disagree there. I am overweight (or WAS overweight) because of two things: having two kids and being on antidepressants. Now both of these resulted in me gaining weight, because I was eating MORE. There are of course medical conditions that cause people to put on weight, but sometimes the medical conditon…

I used to have black hair (as in my pic) but now I dye it red and my bf HATES it. But, oh well....it's my hair not his :wink: He was always complimenting my black hair and he complains that he misses it.

Sorry if I sounded flippant in my above post, I guess I wasn't thinking of people recovering from EDs. Although, IMO, this site would be detrimental to someone who has an eating disorder. It would only make an unhealthy obsession with food even worse. And I've seen evidence of this on the forums.

Well I keep mine open even though I've been told a million times I eat too many carbs. But hey, I've lost 29lbs so I must be doing something right. I wouldn't keep it closed because I don't really see a point in filling in a diary if I'm the only one who sees it. Why not just write down your calories on a piece of paper?…

I've been tempted a few times to do the same, but when she says in circuit 7 that you're almost done, and that you can go easy on the jump rope cos it's the last thing....well that would just kill me if it was only my first circut. Ugh, I'm going to do bfbm now, the thoughts are killing me. I really hate it.

It's something I don't 'get' either. We're all on here because at one point we ate too many calories, so how can people now all of a sudden not eat enough? It's not a problem I have :laugh: .

I'm still fat. I weigh 139lbs. I want to weigh 125lbs...I know that weight suits me. My best friend's goal is more than my current weight, but I still complain about being fat to her. I don't mean it to make her feel huge, we just have different body shapes and she's taller than me. What is "skinny" anyway? 100lbs? 95lbs?

I would recommend No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. NMTZ is all strenth work and BFBM is all cardio. I alternate the two. They're both roughly 40 minutes long + warm up and cool down. 7 x 6 minute circuits. A lot tougher than the 30 day shred, but also more enjoyable. I'm waiting on 6w6p to arrive now…

Whenever you can fit it in. So long as you stick to it, it doesn't matter when you do it. I do it in the afternoon, around 4pm. I have the kids sorted for a while, homework done, dinner on etc... and I can hop into the shower immediately afterwards. You will be sore for a couple of days after starting more than likely, but…

I'm 139lbs and I burn around 470 cals if I do the whole thing. I've started skipping circuit 6 though, it's just too much.

I like the show, it's the only one on tv that shows how unhealthy UNDER-eating is as well as OVER-eating.

I've done a lot of JM's dvds, and 30DS is the easiest believe it or not. It kind of builds you up to doing the others. Now I haven't done killer buns and thighs yet so I don't know anything about that. Side planks are also in no more trouble zones and I find them tough! Aha! That's the problem. I think (and I could be wrong) that the 30DS is meant to be the beginner dvd, and then BFBM and NMTZ come afterwards. That's how I did it anyway. I've been doing BFBM for over a month now and it STILL kills me! I didn't find level 1 of 30DS too bad either, but stick with it for at least a few more…

Your's is not as bad as mine, trust me. I've had 2 kids too. I'm 15lbs from goal now so going to start strength training soon as cardio is just not cutting it anymore. I'm *hoping* this will help me tone up as much as possible. good luck with p90x :smile:

Thanks everyone. I've ordered new rules of lifting for women. Looking forward to getting started. Trainer is not an option as I never have free time from my kids so any exercise has to be done at home when they're in bed.

Ha! If that was true then I must be a total dog because my fiance is certainly not wealthy. He's the worst person with money I've ever met. I love him regardless of that. It's more the shape of mine changing that's bugging me. I've had two kids, and I still had perky DD cups. Now I've gone down a size (36 to 34) and a cup size to a D, but they're saggy!! And I'm only 26. :cry: WORST part of losing weight!

Please eat. A ww soup is not a meal. You need to EAT!! You're going to get sick otherwise, I'm sure your future husband would prefer you to be healthy. PLEASE EAT at least 1200 calories. You are in negative net some days. That's just incredibly bad.

I hope people don't read this and decide to cut out fruit from their diet. *groan*:noway: A banana might have the same amount of calories as a small bar of chocolate....but which one has more nutrients? No brainer.

Yesterday I was 10 stone even. Today I am 9 stone 13lbs. Happy happy. See how much better this sounds than I was 140lbs, now I am 139lbs. Just doesn't sound as good.

There are two kickboxing circuits in BFBM too. I know I can't get kickbox fast fix where I live yet (Ireland).
