I'm now on day 6 with the rest of you because I've been sick for the past two days :sad: so it's lucky I started 2 days earlier than 1st of feb. I'm still sick....but have to push myself to do day 6 today.

I'm on day 6 today and this is the first morning I've woken up without sore thighs. Thankfully!! So from today I need to add in at least 45 mins of cardio along with the 30DS. Keep going everybody....we're doing great! :wink:

182lbs when 9 months pregnant. 168lbs after giving birth age 24....and that's when I joined MFP.

Well altogether I had 42lbs to lose. I HAD lost 21lbs, but today's weigh in brings that back to 19lbs. So that means I have 23lbs to lose. Is that a small amount? I suppose. I'll just keep on going with what I'm doing and hope to see a long term result. Adding in 45 mins of zumba a day today, my legs haven't been up to it…

Yeah I took measurements, and was planning to take them after each ten days of the shred. So in 5 days time. I know you're making sense...it's just a hard change when you're used to seeing your weight go down every week I suppose.

Thanks. That sounds totally logical to me. So why did it make me feel so ****ty when I saw the number on the scales? I wasn't expecting to have lost anything, but to gain? I wasn't prepared for that.

I hope it's enough. I had planned to do 45 mins of zumba along with 30DS every day but my legs are so sore and stiff that I phyically can't. I can barely walk. Maybe when the pain eases off.

Hi everyone. I'm on D4L1 and I'm still in really bad pain. Mainly my thighs. It hurts to sit, stand, walk....everything lol. The only thing that helps with the pain is actually doing the work out. Then I get a few minutes blissful relief. I find the push ups impossible, everything else ok. Don't even talk to me about level…

I'll be happy if I get a CHANCE to wear a swimsuit. I live in rainy ole Ireland. Hoping to book a holiday to sunny Spain soon so we shall see!

What size weights are you using? I love anything to do with weights because it means I get a rest from jumping jacks lol.

I hope it's not cheating! I just keep going with jumping jacks I can't change to jump rope it's too hard on my legs at the moment because they're still really sore (Day 4 now....when will the pain go?:sad: ).

No matter how sore you are on day 2 or 3 I found that doing the dvd HELPS with the pain instead of making it worse. Just an FYI for those of you who will wake up in pain tomorrow. I'm hoping my pain will have lessened by tomorrow (day 4).

Thanks, some good advice. I have never tried a protein shake, ever! I'm still trying to lose weight and tone at the same time so I don't end up with loose skin. I drink tonnes of water. Wait till you feel the pain tomorrow (I'm on day 3 and in agony). I can't do pushups either, very thin weak wrists. I have the wrists of a skinny person lol.

I find the push ups and the second round of jumping jacks the hardest. What does everyone else find the toughest?

I do it in the evening, no way could I face Jillian at 5am! And I'm using 2.5lb weights for now. Good luck everyone, report back anyone who's doing it for the first time :wink:

I'm in even more pain today :( Really, I never knew it was water retention? My thighs are just so so sore, and since I did it for 2nd time today my arms are sore too. Tomorrow is D-day!!

I've been doing Zumba for a month now, and I LOVE it. (Wii version). It does make you sweat and it's so fun. BUT....I started 30DS yesterday and after doing it twice (today too) I can barely walk. My thighs feel like they're so swollen, my muscles are actually sticking out and I can squat at all. So I don't think Zumba…

I used to HATE plain water. I used to drink 2litres of diet 7up every day. I read on here that if I halved my weight in lbs, and drank that many ounces of water a day it would be the right amount for me. This worked out at around 2.25 litres of water. I think I added myself to the spreadsheet right. Hope so! I just added my weight and my measurements for bust/waist/hips and thighs. These are the parts I want to tone, my arms are skinny.
