Ditto usmcmp. 1310 will most likely be hard to stick to with all that activity. You may feel tired, run down, and super hungry all the time. I will say that some people can do it and do just fine. I'm just not one of them. I need more fuel or I will give up and bury my face in a cake.

So you've been at this for a month and lost 4.4lbs? That's great! If you're in a calorie deficit then you didn't gain that pound back. It's normal to have weight fluctuations, especially women. Also, keep in mind that it's not a choice between 1400 calories and 1800 calories. You can set your own calorie goal. Try 1700 and…

Well, you certainly made a memorable and pungent first impression that your co-worker did not want to experience on her second day at work.

I agree. This story is heckin funny but I'd be ticked off if I worked with someone who was ripping butt all day and stinking up the place and then told me not to spray something.

It's typical for weight to come off quickly at first. A lot of it is water weight. And I agree that you're holding on to water for muscle repair since you're working with a trainer in what I assume is an effective workout program. I dropped a good amount of weight in January too and haven't lost much since. I know it's…

I understand. I try to include biscuits in my calorie count once or twice a week so I won't go crazy and eat a whole package. Just let it go (once your bowels are back to normal) and move on. It happens.

I get very tired on a low calorie diet. I recently increased mine and I'm feeling much better. Give yourself a week on maintenance calories and see how you feel. If your energy comes back then you've found the culprit. When you cut your calories again go with a smaller calorie deficit. If you don't feel better see your…

Have you checked out Youtube for workouts? You don't need a lot of equipment to get a great workout. You can look into workout programs like Convict Conditioning and other body weight workouts. That combined with walking or running and you're set.

I do understand your feelings. Depression is like being in a dark pit that you can't get yourself out of. And I understand a broken heart. Anyone would be upset over two relationships ending. It will take time for the pain and the feelings of loss to go away. Just consider the possibility that you don't have to think and…

I know how hard it is to deal with feelings without food - our emotional crutch. But you can do it! You've shown that you know how. Forget about the past weight gain and just jump back into it.

If you food prep you'll probably be eating in a similar amount of time than you would if you drove to a restaurant and ordered. I don't think there's anything wrong with her eating a healthy dinner on the way home. But I've just reread your OP and it doesn't sound like you were asking for help on eating at home. It sounds…

Have you tried giving her a little snack when you pick her up at daycare? When my kids were little I always had a little snack on hand and rotated toys to keep in my purse. They'd stay occupied with a toy they hadn't seen in a while and some Cheerios, half of a Z Bar, or grapes. Prepping your meals on the weekend will save…

There is a lot you can do to improve your depression if you don't want to be medicated. You can try journaling to figure out what your negative thinking is all about so you can correct it. When we are depressed we have negative, incorrect thoughts that run in our mind on a loop. No wonder it's so hard to feel better! By…

If you're looking for black tea try PG Tips. Brew the tea with boiling water( I brew for the recommended 3 minutes), don't squeeze the bag, add 1/2-1 tsp sugar or none at all, and 3-4 tablespoons of 2% milk. An herbal tea I've been enjoying lately is Tazo Dessert Delights. I usually don't like lemon teas but their Lemon…

Check out Youtube for meal prep videos. There are tons of great ideas.

Yes, I use the recipe builder and it's helpful. Most of the time it's not a big deal but sometimes I want something that's quick and easy and I was looking for some new ideas for those times.

I'm starting over, too. One pound heavier than when I started using mfp a few years ago. I had lost about 25lbs. I have an event in two months that will hopefully keep me motivated. If I'm consistent I can get some pretty good results. "If" being the key word. I have CFS so most exercise is out. I used to love working out…

Try filling a pitcher with water and a sliced cucumber before you go to bed. In the morning take out the cucumber slices and enjoy the water all day. It's so refreshing.

I'm back on it, too. This is week two for me and it's going well. I have a short term 6 week goal and then I'll set another goal for the beginning of summer. I definitely want to look and feel better by then.

I let myself get way too hungry before lunch but still counted my calories before I ate and kept it under control. Yay me.

Congratulations on your weight loss! You've done so well! I've had feelings in the past about not being able to work out due to various things and then I feel bad about it and my eating goes downhill. It's all or nothing thinking and it doesn't help. You can still lose weight even if you don't work out. If you still want…

Lots of people lose weight with either no exercise or very light exercise. I have chronic fatigue and can't work out like I used to. I can walk and do easy exercises like beginners Pilates. It's taken a while but now I'm walking an hour 4-5 times per week. I started out by taking a very slow 20 minute stroll and increased…

I have chronic fatigue and occasional pain and can't work out like I used to. I used to love to lift weights and hike. Now I can walk and do simple exercises like beginners Pilates. I'm still trying to figure out what my calorie intake should be to lose weight. It's not like it used to be. I used to lift weights and drop…
