Happy to hear about your successful run :drinker: Take care of your knees. Hmmm...my knees are very crunchy noisemakers, maybe I need to get fish oil too!

Just whipped up some of this and had a salad with it. Very nice, thanks for posting :)

I eat it almost every day, using it as I would sour cream on broccoli and/or a baked potato. I used it the other day to make tuna salad, in place of mayonnaise and it was great :). I love this dip: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/555071-yogurt-dip Good stuff!

I was looking into the glycemic index thing regarding potatoes. I found it interesting and had not previously known that the method of cooking affects the glycemic index of a potato somewhat drastically. Boiled white potatoes had a GI of 56, versus a sweet potato's GI of 54. But baked white potatoes had a GI of 85. These…

Me too...King's quest! I barely remember it. I think it was like 1985 and I had my first computer which was a used IBM 8088 with 4.77 mhz processor and a monochrome (green) screen. I was like 23 years old at the time. I just remember typing out things for the character to do.

Great job guys, I love reading these updates :)!!

I am over on the sodium more often than not. It is things like cheese, croutons, and salad dressing that are my usual culprits. I have also read though that its not a health hazard unless you are someone who does have high blood pressure. Although it will cause more water retention, it doesn't slow down loss of fat…

Learn how to ski, go hiking and backpacking a lot more, and get back into playing golf. And go to amusement parks!

Let us know how it goes!

You guys rock! WTG!:drinker:

So much of it depends on where you live, what you were eating before and whether or not now that you are now choosing organic produce and meat vs just non-organic versions of the same. I don't usually buy the organic versions unless they are the same price as the regular. I'm spending a lot less money now because of not…

You guys are doing awesome! Keep it up :). I'm a week or so behind you. Having calf cramp problems but I think they are getting under control. I'm going to repeat week 3 I believe. Can't wait to be able to go 5 minutes at a time though! That is wonderful!

This is bad. I bought a bag of semisweet chocolate chips to try a brownie recipe that was on this site. Which is pretty good btw :o. Of course the bag I bought was HUGE and you only needed like two tablespoons or something for the brownies. Well a few days ago I ate ONE WHOLE CUP of them. I didn't think I was a big…

In my store its in several different places. In the area with rice, and it is in a box, then there is another place where there is a stand full of different Bobs Red Mill items and he has one and it is in a bag. Then in the health-food section there is some more in a box. good luck! I can't tell the difference in the…

Thank you for posting. I meant to pick up some of the dry Hidden Valley powder to try using that with yogurt for a dip but I forgot. I'm going to try yours instead :) Thanks again Edit: Just made it up and I like it a lot, thanks again, I'm clueless as to mixing up spices myself and am happy not to have to buy Hidden…

Awesome! I'm so happy for you! Same thing for me...I had mine at 1500 and did great for a month then started into this binge/starve cycle, read all the posts about eating more and have upped my calories this past week to my close to my BMR. Well actually I have a Bodymedia Fit and am just going to subtract 1000 from what…

I haven't really tried eating my greek yogurt straight up with fruit or honey etc. I may have to give it a try (have some strawberries atm!). I often eat about 1/2 a day on top of a pile of broccoli and/or baked potato, like sour cream. I love it!

Way to go, that is awesome!! :)

I'm 48 and have played Wow almost since it came out, with breaks where I played Lotro, and tried Warhammer. I've kind of lost interest lately in Wow and am only logging on for the raids. I have SWTOR and like it, but again haven't played it in a couple of months..just seem to be taking a hiatus from the games. In my Wow…

Thanks for bringing it up :). It is funny that I never thought of it until you mentioned it. It was so automatic for me to go for the pill and/or tums almost every day when I felt the onset, that I didn't even realize I wasn't doing it any more. Yay for us for getting healthier!
-
You know what, I hadn't even thought of it but I used to take a heartburn pill almost every day. And never was without my Tums. I haven't taken one in weeks now. Funny how I never even thought about it until now. Woot!

I just made this and its really good!! Thanks so much for posting! I used turkey pepperoni. I don't have any minimuffin tins but I had some foil tins and used those for the first batch...they kind of crumbled up when I tried to get them out. But I still ate some in a bowl and it really is great!! I'm cooking the second…

I have only been doing it for a week. I've done the Sculpt 3 times. I'm not doing the cardio because those days I am doing the c25k jogging program. So obviously I have no progress pictures LOL. Just wanted to chime in because I'm your height, about 17 pounds heavier, and am also 48 (although I only have one month left…

You should be proud! That is awesome, congratulations! You rock!

I think I read on here somewhere that potassium counteracts sodium so maybe if you ate 50 or so bananas? :  ...just kidding!
-
Rofl, I had to take a look too. I'm not laughing out of meanness or lack of sympathy, just at the cute way you phrased it....I would never have dreamed that one item could have that much sodium. Hang in there, soon this will be just a forgotten blip on the radar!

Rofl!

Holy Crap! What an amazing difference...since January? Great work and I'm jealous of the pushups!
-
Gratz! That is great news :) Here's looking forward to continued success!

Very interesting !! I'm going shopping tomorrow and am going to pick up the items I'm lacking to give this one a try. I already use quinoa but mostly for rice substitute or adding to chili instead of meat! Thanks for posting!
