I really listen to myself and stay within serving sizes. I don't go back for more food either. For dessert I take half as much as I would normally take. Instead of focusing on the food part of the family get together I focus on visiting with family.

I have never taken it or any other pill but I have thought about it and I keep coming back to "what happens when you get to your goal weight and you stop taking the pill...will you gain it all back?"

You can still walk. Also investing in workout dvds would be good. I just learned that you can rent them on netflix. :)

Good questions. Wish I had the answers.... I know in the beginning when I first started working out mine would get up to 180 bpm but it hasn't gotten that high in awhile since I lost about 5 pounds and kept up with my working-out...I don't know if that has anything to do with it though.

I do the shred and 100 situps every day. With 2 kids I just try to it them in whenever I can in any order. I prefer to do the shred first though.

I actually don't have any pictures of me at my heaviest...well I do but you can't really see where I carried my weight in them (it was mostly hidden by baby). I have pictures of me up when I was skinny...got rid of all my clothes from when I was at my heaviest. I'm focusing more on where I want to be and how far I've come…

I'm on Day 13 of 30 Day Shred and I don't take any supplements for energy...I get my energy from a full nights rest and plenty of fruits and veggies, you will also gain energy by actually working out. Also Jillian Michaels is a fitness instructor not a nutritionist. I've also seen some of her diet pills get recalled.

Hope you're feeling better! My mom had the flu last week and she ended up losing 18 pounds because of it. I am jealous because that is how many I have left to lose however.....I do not want the flu to lose that many.

I do. I have weights, yoga ball, elliptical and a collection of work-out dvds. It's really helpful to have these things especially when I have 2 kids. Finding a sitter would be hard and if I went to a gym I wouldn't work-out every day like I do...especially since the closest gym is about an hour away. It's so much…

I get really bored on my elliptical at home. Distractions certainly do help keep me going!

You could sell them and maybe buy new clothes at a goodwill or something until you reach your goal. I also did this. I went from a 14 to a 10 and went out and bought new clothes. A month later they were too big and I wish I would have just found some jeans at the goodwill instead of buying new. Sometimes you even get lucky…

My period cramps are horrible as well but with the help of Midol (sometimes that alone doesn't even help), lots of water and exercise it all seems to work together. I would cut back on caffiene during that time too. The most caffiene I have anymore is an occasional tea or chocolate. My cramps used to be much much worse…

LOL Odd...I'd rather eat it....honey isn't all that cheap either to just rub on themselves without a reason. Maybe it holds moisture in better??? I really don't know

I gained 85 pounds with my pregnancies...so I got pretty big and I lost most of it in a year. Hopefully it shrinks back a lot more yet.

I like to have a protien and a carb with every meal I eat otherwise I am left feeling unsatisfied

Congrats on your loss! I also did the same thing when I started and when I realized that I wasn't eating enough I was heasitant to start eating more and working out less. It didn't make any sense to me but ended up dropping the weight.

This time around I started out with 5 pound weights. I have poor upper body strength and I struggle with it. The first time I did it I used 3 pound weights and that seemed like it wasn't enough. I also use a HRM to track my calories burnt. If you don't have one you can track it as circuit training.

That's a lot of apples! lol I would think that it would be better to eat a couple apples a day than to eat a couple candybars a day. Maybe switch up the fruit if you are that concerned. Like have an apple one day, banana the next, plums...and so on.
