The great thing about keeping track of what you eat is you realize what you should eat more of and also less of. I slowly learned what are good, filling calories and what aren't. Don't skip meals..if anything just try not to eat as many carbs with your dinner. Like if you are having dinner rolls...obviously skip out on it…

Oh my goodness! I love pumpkin seeds! We make our own once a year (on Halloween). I can't wait till this year! Anyone know where I can buy them so I don't have to wait? And I have no idea...maybe carrots, celery...but protien? Not really sure.

I completely understand. The road ahead may be long and rough but let me tell you...once you get there, you will be grateful that you stuck in there and pushed through. I may only have 18 pounds left to lose but no matter where you are at, whether you have 100 pounds to lose or 10, the road is going to look long. It took…

This one...and I also love Gaiam Kickbox: Core Cross Train with Patricia Moreno...if you are into kickboxing.

Oatmeal, fresh veggies and fruits for snacks. Rice, tuna. Whole grain bread. Popcorn (the light stuff)...there's a lot of different things out there

One of the biggest reasons I hate TOM....it makes my cravings extremely hard to resist.....lol

I just started level 2 today. I have had results before when I've done it. I lost about 10-15 pounds the first time around. I'm doing it for the 3rd time now. I never make it passed level 2. I just get bored with JM. I am determined this time around. I usually spend 10 days per level and I burnt 396 calories for the first…

I upped mine from 1200 to about 1400-1550 and I went from not losing anything to losing about a pound per week. I really try not to go below 1400 especially when working out.
-
I've lost 57 pounds and have toned up quite a bit with mostly workout dvds (I also have an elliptical that I use every once in awhile). I've never been in a gym... So I do think it is possible as long as you stick to it.

I get cardio in daily chasing my kids out of things. LOL I feel miserable if I don't get some sort of cardio in for the day.
-
Tomorrow is a new day. If I go over for the day I do not deduct them from the next and if I am under, (I try to get as much calories in that I can so that I am not under) I do not get more calories for the next day. If I want more calories for the day I make sure I squeeze in some exercise.

This is great advice and it has worked for me. After awhile you get to using your imagination for meal ideas. :)

7 pounds in 8 weeks is great! The only thing I would suggest is to eat more. The same thing happened with me a few months ago. I spent a month and half working out hardcore and didn't lose a pound. When I started to eat more, is when I started to lose. I personally have to limit the calories I burn during the day because…

I eat really clean after something like that. My favorite meal is fish, rice and a green veggie all mixed up in a bowl. It comes to about 290 calories give or take depending on the fish and the veggie.

I would get a HRM. It would be the most accurate way to figure your calories burnt. That is an awesome deal btw!
-
MFP is way off on my calories burnt...I use a HRM and also check my HR to make sure my HRM is correct. My HRM takes my weight, age, height and sex... I always thought that when you put an exercise into MFP database it just uses that to figure it... Like lets say I put in Elliptical trainer and I know I burnt 400 calories…

I just do 30 Day Shred Monday-Friday and on the weekends I work outside. If I work out more then I need to eat more and I really have a hard time eating more when I'm not even hungry. I will actually plateau by doing this, but everyone is different.
-
We all have those days every once in awhile. Just remember that tomorrow is a new and better day! :)
-
I try to stay away from juices because of this...instead I will have fresh fruit. Much better for you. :)
-
Never heard of it and probably would see what it was about but not really follow it just because I think as long as you are eating healthy you don't have anything to really worry about...
-
I personally don't eat a lot of meat and I try not to eat a lot of sugar so I will occasionally eat a protien bar that is really low in sugar. I do know that you are not supposed to use them as a meal replacement though and really read the labels. Some have a warning on them for certain side effects if you consume too much…
-
I would think that if you were making sure that you're putting healthy things in there (all natural sugars such as fruit rather than white sugar), it would be ok. You could try it out and see how you like it.
-
I would eat as clean as you can. Fresh fruits, fresh veggies, lean meats. I'm also 5'3" :) Just an FYI fruits and veggies are low in calories, great for you and can be quite filling. 30 Day Shred is awesome! I'm currently on my 6th day and the first time I did it I lost quite a bit of weight so I'm doing it again. :) You…

Ok...let me try and explain this one more time. I'm talking about NET calories....it said that I had 400 NET calories left before I hit my 1200 NET calories. Since when does 800 NET plus 400 NET equal 1409 NET???
-
Yes but what I'm not understaning is before my 425 calorie sandwich my net was 800...so I had 400 left until a net of 1200. I went over by 9 calories. Not a big deal but where did the extra 200 net calories come from...I know I did not eat them... but they are saying that I did.
-
I know that but they are saying that my 425 calorie sandwich was was really 600 calories then. I just don't get it.
-
I have a HRM and I log it under my own personal exercises
-
That's awesome! Keep up the great work!
-
I do the ones on my knees. I can't hardly do the regular ones...if I do the regular ones my shoulders will give out on me doing the squat and presses. Just keep trying...tryig is better than not doing them at all. Good luck!
-
I personally just make sure that my net calories are close to 1200 and I try to burn between 500-1000 calories
