I'm also 4'11 (well, actually 4'10.5). I started out at 160 lbs and have lost 30 lbs since joining MFP in January. I took the summer off, but have been trying to get myself back on the wagon. It's been kinda tough to get back into the swing of things, but I hope to lose another 15 lbs at which point I'll re-evaluate my…

You will no doubt be carded for a long time to come! Have a very happy birthday! You've earned it! :)

Congrats! You look beautiful. And just like everyone else is saying... so much younger!!!! Mind if I ask?... How old are you?

I think many people would count that as water... I know I would. I count my one or two cups of tea or coffee as water - but no more that that because of the caffeine. If I'm drinking a non-caffeinated beverage and it has no added sugars and such, I would definitely count it in my water count.

You look healthy to me... At least in that one profile pic!

You look like a different person! Congrats! Keep up the great work!

Looking good! I can definitely see the difference! Keep up the great work!

I'm back into my cuter panties too! Go us!!!!

That's awesome! Keep up the great work!!!! You'll be ride the Disney rides in no time!!!

My scale doesn't have ounces - which I think is a good thing... body weight fluctuates even within in a single day! To lose yourself in the ounces is a sure way to drive yourself batty!! I used to have a set weigh in, but lately, I've been logging whenever I see a solid one lb down. If I'm hovering between two numbers,…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!! May all your dreams come true!

I thought you looked beautiful in your early pics... but you look even more beautiful in your later pics!!! You're post is really inspiring to me because I'm about 4'11" and have lost 24lbs from my high of 160lbs. I'm feeling pretty good at my current weight - being the smallest I've ever been in my adult life. I've been…

@ milaxx and redheadlynn, I don't believe they're referring to foods that are genuinely healthy (fruits, veges, or foods that use real/full cal ingredients that happen to be healthy). Even though I can't be sure of this since I didn't read the study myself - I read only the Times article - I THINK they are referring to…

Sorry for my last post - I was falling asleep as I wrote it, so it came out as mostly gibberish. I was trying to say that you should add the sodium column to your diary so that you can keep track of your intake. By my quick look, your sodium intake seemed like it would be high. Currently, you only have 5 columns, and since…

I was only able to take a quick look at your diary - but one thing I would take a look at is your sodium level - you can add it as a 6th column to the food journal. Too much sodium can wreak havoc

After reading your question and looking at your profile I know that you're a 36 yo woman and you're aiming to lose only 36 lbs (a relatively small amount). Without knowing how tall you are or any other extenuating circumstances I think that 1910 calories sounds like a very high caloric baseline. When you signed up and…

You can do some shadow boxing. You can get a pretty good cardio workout just punching the air :)

So wonderful! Having come out of your son's mouth, there can't be any doubt as to it's truth! You must look FANTASTIC!

You're looking great!

Love it!

The exercise part of this whole thing is what I struggle with too. I've completed C25K a few months back and ran my first 5K last month, but have yet to be bitten by the running bug. I also have Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, and find myself dreading it a lot of the time :( Sending you a friend request. Maybe we can cheer…

Love it! Great NSV!

A woman I went to school with owns one of these "Barre Method" studios... She's a former dancer and in amazing shape. I imagine it provides a great workout. The Barre Method may be a great workout, but I would be hesitant of any studio that does not allow a session to check the place out. I'd wonder what they've got to…

You look fantastic! Your smile says it all! Thanks for the inspiration!

I agree 100% with Atlantique! If you want to find bras that fit CORRECTLY then you've got to go to the old school bra shops (not familiar with the nicer department store's lingerie). Just like any other clothing, different styles and brands will fit you differently, so you may actually go home with bras in different sizes.…

It really depends what kind of music you like to run to. I first tried Ullery, which is techno, with no lyrics. I decided I needed some lyrics. I used the podcasts from http://runningintoshape.com/5k-training-downloads/ after Ullery. I think she's got both hip hop podcasts and rock podcasts available for download. Chubby…

Congrats! It may take a couple of sessions, but you'll get acclimated to the place in no time. Just keep on keeping on! You'll do great!

Bump. Any other suggestions out there?
