• I do an abs class twice a week. It is 40 minutes long with 30 solid minutes of intense abs training. My abs are killing me the entire time and I am very sore for days. The instructor really pushes us to do our best. I use a heart rate monitor and I average 200 calories for those 40 minutes.
• Every time my husband left for a deployment, school, or long training, I would manage to lose 15 to 25 pounds. The last time he deployed, I had managed to instead gain weight. When he came home for R&R, I was so dissappointed in myself and felt so unattractive that I let it affect my relationship with my husband and I…
• Very well put. You are my hero. I was obese for over 20 years and now that I have lost 72 lbs, I can tell that I will need to have plastic surgery. I lost weight by eating healthier and exercizing almost daily. I incorporated cardio and strength training into every workout, but I have not been able to have my excess skin…
• Welcome to MFP. We are a great group of people. We encourage and motivate each other to eat healthy, exercise and above all lose weight. I have lost 67 pounds since early January. I am on a mission to weigh what I did before I had my oldest daughter 22 years ago and I am currently just 9 pounds from my goal. My best advice…
• I own ALL the Zumba DVD's. I love them!! How many calories you burn depends on the routine, so I recomend the Exhilarate set. Since I use an HRM, I can tell you that the Rush, Exhilarate, Zumba Concert and Activate are the best ones for burning calories. Per my HRM, I burn as much calories with the DVD's as I do in my…
• I am a Zumba Fanatic!!!!!! I started doing Zumba in January and fell in love with it. I have all the DVD's, but I don't do the Wii cause I don't like the stop and pick a song or breaks in between. I attend 3 classes a week and participate in Zumbathons almost every weekend. I am going to try to get certified to be an…

• You've made a step in the right direction. Luckily you were smart enough to see that if you don't make a change for the better now, things will only get worst and a lot harder. I started MFP in January and through logging in everything I eat, exercising regularly and making better food choices, I have lost 66 pounds. MFP…
• I bought the Polar FT7 a few months ago and recently accidentally threw away the monitor so I very quickly bought the same replacement. I love it.
• 2 hour Zumbathon today and a 3 hour Zumbathon tomorrow.
• You look fabulous!! You are definitely an inspiration for all of us.
• Three months ago I was down 33 lbs and I was very happy that I had lost so much weight but I hated looking at myself without clothes becuase I could see all my saggy, mushy skin. Now after doing more strength training and being down 56 lbs, I don't hate looking at myself anymore. I can see that my saggy skin is slowly…
• Tomorrow is a new day. You can start your 21 days again tomorrow and this time you will probably stick with it since you feel so horrible about not sticking with it before. I am not so sure about that 21 day habit thing though, I have been dieting since January 6th and more often than not it is a struggle to eat good. I…
• I buy the 100 calorie snacks. I keep some at home and some at my desk at work. I have granola bars (favs are oatmeal raisin and peanut butter and chocolate), crackers and cookies. I also try to buy a lot of fruit. Watermelon is my current favorite because I can eat a ton of it and it has so little calories AND it satisfies…
• Congratulations. You worked hard and you have achieved so much. You look terrific. Thanks for inspiring us.
• I've lost 46 lbs and I am still waiting for my boobs to shrink. I used to wear a 44 (very full)C and now I wear a 42(very full)C. I'd like to go down to a regular C but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I would love to be a regular 38 C again.
• Congratulations, that is quite the accomplishment. You should be very proud of yourself. You are very beautiful.
• I bought it in October, but then I had surgery a few weeks later so I stopped using it. I felt a little sore when I would finish the exercises but I didn't really notice a change in my arms. I should start using it again.
• You look fantastic. Thanks for inspiring me.
• Welcome to MFP. This website is great. It has helped me lose weight, feel better about myself and best of all, it has helped me have faith that I can stick to my goals. I have yo-yo dieted for years and this is the first time I have lasted more than 2 months and lost more than 21 pounds. Currently I have been on MFP for…

• Welcome to MFP. I have yo-yo dieted for years, but never with the support of a website community that has the same goals as me. I have learned alot from the other people on this site. They are real people that have lost weight and are trying to lose weight just like me. I have found that the food and exercise trackers keep…
• The success pics give me hopw too. I hope I can be as lucky...but the reality is I have lost 30 pounds and I see the saggy, fat filled skin already.
•
but I've seen some before and after photos of ladies (here on MFP in the success topics) who have lost a good amount of weight and didn't have really bad skin, so that gives me hope.
Me too.

• Welcome to MFP Sarah. This is a wonderful website and it has helped all of us lose weight and get back some of our lives. I have personally lost 30 pounds, much of it due to MFP. There are some very great and supportive people on here that are always willing to provide you the motivation and support you need. Please feel…
• Congratulations. You have made a remarkable change. I regret not taking before pics, your pics are so inspiring.
• I have been using MyFitnessPal for over 2 months and I have not forgotten once to check in...it's just something you look forward to, especially when you are trying hard to lose weight. This site has helped me tremendously, so much more that I ever thought it would and I highly recommend it. We are here to support each…
• I weight myself every morning at 5:45 because it helps me adjust how much I eat. I just measured myself for the first time a few days ago because I stopped losing weight but my clothes seem to fit looser. I know I've been doing more weight training so i am hoping it's because I am gaining muscle. I plan to measure myself…
• For the 3 months before I started MFP I lost a total of 10 pounds, but I lost the same amount in a little over a month once I stated MFP so I know it definitely works.
• The support on here is amazing. I've been on MGP for almost 2 months and it's the best thing I have tried. Friend me if you'd like. We can help each other.

• Once I started MFP I was losing 1.8 lbs a week, but I haven't lost anything in the last week. I started doing CrossFit so I am using weights a lot more. I hope I am gaining some muscle and that it's not that I have plateaued.
